- Today I decided to take the 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo for a spin. This car has an agressive 5.0L v10 motor that pushed out 500+ horsepower. In this video you can hear the exhaust revs and downshifts as I cut thru gears. Also I review the feeling of this Lambo Gallardo vs. Huracan and other exotic cars as I test drive in Bergen County NJ.

It sounds amazing, it sounds just like my Volkswagen Jetta, they share the same head. Although my jetta sounds no where as fast and pure as this
I love my Lamborghini, a few of the things I do not like is.
1. People always wanting to race me. Some people think just because you have a nice car that you want to race it.
2. Cops, cops are always looking at cars like this. First night I got mine, less than 2 hours of getting it, I got pulled over when I was at a red light.
3. People always wanted to drive it. All my friends and even others always asking to drive my car then get mad when I say “No”. These cars are not cheap and of course they want to haul ass, they have no ideal what parts for these things cost and how easy they are to tear up.
4. jealous people wanted to damage them. Just driving through through a parking lot or parking it, people want to damage them. They try and key them, put things under the tire, dent or kick the doors and or side panels. I worked hard for my cars, studied, did without, lots of sleepless nights working, etc. I earned it.
5. Car thieves, you cannot park these things anywhere as it will not be there when you get back. I have good insurance let me tell you.
But I love my car, all 9 of them and I keep them all clean, polished, and garaged and when they are not they are covered. Oil and fluids are always checked before use, and the oil is changed every 5,000 miles.
You sound like a hell of a nice guy. I would most definitely buy a car from a guy like you.

This engine will last long it's basically same engine as R8.. no issues doing 200,000km a year.. no problem great engine.
this first gen gallardo have 5.0 v10 and the r8's have 5.2 same as the huracan

With the early E-gear cars it was always recommended to put these cars into neutral at stoplights to save wear on the clutch. Although any used Gallardo with some miles on should have had the clutch replaced, whenever Lambo replaces the clutch they usually update the software to the latest... being 07-08 for this gen, the 06+ were friendlier on the clutches and actuators. 04-05 should be fine too... again, providing they had the software update. There is a paddle kit from KLA which really modernizes the G's paddles, best $600 to update the looks of the interior a bit.
Why would you replace the clutch just because the car has "some miles on it"? Why not have the clutch life checked first?

Damn, I'm turning 16 in like a month so I can't really drive (much less afford) a gallardo rn but I have to ask something- I've pretty much set my mind on getting an exotic in the future but what are the cons that you wish you knew when before buying a lambo/exotic?
@@notverycashmoney8221 cons are if you get it out of warranty all repairs are on you but its to be expected. So get it warranty or a lease. If not have 20% of whatever you pay aside for future repairs. Follow my RUclips channel and hit me up if you need any more advice.

Thats not hesitation,,,,thats the clutch hooking up 100 percent,,,non drivers perfer the (slip) for the smoothness...but its actually harder on the clutch ive been told
For all those who've hated on me or doubted me or tried to be the bossnin my life. When i get my gallardo that will be the "in your face " i need. Just the looks on peoples faces will be my getback. No violence and no talking only action......back the classroom

These are affordable cars when buying used, however, the maintenance could easily exceed $4000 annually. Does Lamborghini offer a maintenance plan to reduce the costs if purchased up front?
Not on a 13+ year old car, no.
Fuel, servicing and clutch life included, these come to around $1-$1.5 per mile driven, if not more.
