Steak looks juicy and tasteful; and you look even better!! Can you also make some videos about how you stay that fit and gain back fat & muscle without a stomach?

you got it! That's a great idea! I'll start working on some scripts - but you got any specific questions so I can narrow down the video content?

@@Dangarangg my hubby is almost a year out from the operation, and back to eating almost anything. We follow a mediterranean diet, and now looking for ways to incorporate eating strategies to gain back fat and muscle. Before the operation he was a normal weight dude, 39 yo, and post op he lost 15 kg, mostly from fat and also muscle, so he desperately needs some fat back in his tushy :) He is not huge with sports but would like to recover energy to do some regular physical activity as well. Other than that he is fine and there is no treatment etc pending. Do you count calories? how often do you eat from breakfast to bed? do you follow different diet for work out or busy days? any secret weapons for fat gain? (to be brutally honest, i also miss how his face and cheeks used to look like, nowadays it is quite down to bones and is not a healty look if you can imagine what i mean..)

@@Dangarangg just to also share that I have come across your profile through the facebook group, and your story has given us a lot of mental/emotional support during our treatment journey. Now we just dont want to look back on the treatment side of this journey, kind of forget about it, and look for ways to enhance our quality of life given my hubby's new body. Having hopes and dreams for future is what keeps us going, and hopefully we want to build a family in those next days as well.

oyitaable hahaha my wife used to laugh at my tushy all the time because it was so flat and saggy after losing about 40 lbs / 18kg. Took me sooo long to get it all back. You’ll get the weight gain back, in fact, I need to watch my diet because I’m starting to get a little too heavy again. My advice is not to worry about it too much, because you’ll start seeing the weight come back and level out. For almost two years I have been at 170-175 lbs. Since Covid shelter in place however I’m almost 180. Haha!

How are you able to eat heavy foods like this?? I've heard the people without a stomach can only eat certain foods and almost have to boil everything. Are any of your foods spicy? Do the heavy foods flow fine through the intestine? They say you really really have to chew all your foods or it doesn't work well. Would be great if you can reply. God bless.

Hey! Thanks for the question - It took me a long time to eat red meat again (I would say about 2 years), but strangely enough, i discovered, the more rare the red meat, the easier it was to eat. When it was over cooked, things would get stuck and it would cause a tone of pain. If I didn't chew enough it would always come back up as well. So for me what I found: overcooked, dry, undigestible foods like kale, gave me a lot of issues. Rare, juicy, easily digestible foods + a ton of chewing, makes it easier.
Once my body started to adapt to my new digestive system, it seems to handle stuff well. The only real problem I have is with carbohydrates and sugars which really mess me up. Hope it helps!
let me know if you discover what works for you. Best wishes! God bless you my friend.

@@Dangarangg for sweetners, try stevia. It's a better alternative to sugars. It has zero calories so it won't spike up your blood sugar.
As for me, I think I'm about to lose my stomach. It's been in too much pain lately. Seems like something is really wrong with it.

@@cesiumion Thanks! I've started switching to stevia, I like that it's natural. Has a bit of a taste, but I think I'm getting used to it. Keep me posted on whats happening. Prayers for you!
