My one person army of an uncle did this in Hawaii by renting a front loader and making a much bigger hole in the
side of his house (the exposed side, it was on a hill) it added about $450k to the value of the house.

It was determined the Footings were Deep enough and not cracked. At first we used buckets and shovels. Later we made a Wheeled Sled to haul the dirt out. Not sure how many tons we moved. Worst was we kept loosing sump pumps from the mud.

Lol believe it or not most houses don't have basements and sometimes it's long time homes of people why but an over priced house when u already own one and will make it more valuable 30k spent can bring you over a 100k in equity it's an investment

Yeah, they disturbed the ground under the house, they put in new materials, things are going to settle. I don't care how good of a crew it is, it's not going to be perfect. Imagine 10 years don't the road one side of the house is an inch lower than the other or worse.

@@Radek3887 Then you jack up that side of the house and add shims. Most residential houses are light enough that a 30 ton jack from harbor freight will lift a corner of it.
