@@CharXena I've been known to cuss when I was younger (30 - 40's) and disliked by a few because of it. Nothing like IBTAT though. I think the same; excessive and unnecessary. I never watched him on the AT (watched a pre-thru-hike hike and that was enough) and only watched one or two of his PCT hike because someone said he made really good videos. I just can't see it. Can't get past all that swearing. I totally don't understand how he has so many subscribers. Maybe because he goes against the grain of what is acceptable behavior ?
@@1houndgal 2:48 That guy. Goes by the trail name of IB TAT look him up and watch one of his videos. He's currently on the PCT (that's how Panda ran into him at Kennedy Meadows). I suggest his earlier, start videos because those were the two I watched (giving him a second chance) and I think he was swearing even more than in the ones I first watched that he made. Warning: You better not mind being called a "MF" because that's how he addresses his followers. Not for me, there are plenty of others to watch. For fun watch his first PCT video and then come back and rewatch his interview by Panda. You'll be surprised as we were !
Brilliant vlog. I love the narration, the photography and the poignant interviews with other hikers. It's a nice change from the selfie vlog format that's become the norm for those recording their adventure on the PCT. Well done.

I'm sad that I can only "like" Panda's videos. And only once. These are by far the best filmed, edited and narrated videos of any thru-hiker that I've watched. This guy has a knack for story telling and filming that is outstanding. Not sure how you got IBTAT to clean up his language but kudos for doing that (I'm sure it was no swearing or you'd edit it out). Wish that they were longer and you posted more frequently. I saw you on 2nd Chance and made a mental note to find your channel. I thought there was much more to you than I was seeing. I really like what you said about solitude in one of your earlier video's, I think once you gain the ability to appreciate solitude and wonder you don't experience loneliness very much; at least that's my theory.
