Today I started having fun with the Roland JX-8P. I tried to create Michael Jackson - Thriller sounds. Being a song from the 80s, it seemed right to use an 80s Synth. Surely if I had had a Moog or a Jupiter 8, it would have been better. But in the end it doesn't look bad. I hope you like it...Enjoy

The JX-8P is actually very close to the JP-8 sonically, in some ways it's actually even better (and I'm a few ways it's worse). In actual fact the Super Jupiter Rev. 5 has the same filters.

Were the drum sounds and claptrap done on the JX or was that done on something else?
