What i would love to see is a "sword in a stone". Thought of this when i saw Eddie testing his maximum dead lift in the facility. Basically you would have a "sword" in a "stone" and its connected to a scale of some variety and the contestants just pull on it as hard as they can and see who has the biggest deadlift force. plus after its used by the competitors you can put it out for the public to try
Or you could do some variation like with that grip event when they hold onto that grip attached to the massive ball for time, give the same aesthetic but just pull max weight and keep adding.

I was thinking about a pull where it gets progressively heavier, like a rope pull but the further you pull the more stuff you lift from the ground. You could do something similar with this. @a-a-rondavis9438 even powerlifting depth is far from full ROM. I really hope they get this event right. The last squat they had at the shaw classic was really bad. He needs this one to go well.
It’s fine for strongman at Shaws height but you’ll get the occasional WSM competitor under 6ft. I guess they are at a big disadvantage for stones and whatnot so it tends to work out in the end.
From an engineering standpoint, would suggest adding extra material on the front and back side of the long vertical square tube that connects to the bar. That'll increase the section modulus / resistance to bending in that direction, and that appears to be where you have a bit of wobble left. Or, alternatively, switch from a square section to a rectangular section for those parts. Side to side it should be strong enough already since they are tied together top and bottom. Aside from that it looks awesome!
