22:39 every scripted chase has the appearance of the last victim(that's why the other time you try to unlock the door the ao oni has mikas hair because that is the scripted chase) and the version that your playing has 10x more random encounters that the original and I recommend playing the original but if you want to play the new version it's harder with all of the random encounters hop this helps

Oh and The Witches House, that was a text book rpg horror i almost forgot. Honestly Wish they would make more RPG Horror Games. I was surprised someone Made a 3D version of Ao Oni but gave it a different name Iirc _Think It was called Kuro Oni. Unique but the game was empty for the most part._ But It is a blessing to see You play this Mike, hopefully the game was good and not to confusing, Plus there are/were EASTER EGGS with the Name creator. (to point out one like a Mock up SouthPark "Playthrough" was for some funnies.)

Green doesn't really exist as much as it does here. In fact you can look up, "Japanese traffic lights." The lights will look blue as it is in fact seen as a shade of green. I'm unaware why ao oni is considered blue by the creator though it may be due to a similar reason.

Will, it is scary game, but if I was you i would bring a bunch of gasoline and one lighter, putting a bunch gasoline in the house outside and inside, after that I sent everything on fire with a lighter and all the blue monster will be on fire and will die from the fire, so nobody will go to the house, so nobody will be eating alive by the blue monster because I am the one who burn everything down. Ao Oni! I used to play this with my friends at uni! We also played a fangame of it and of the anime Axis Powers: Hetalia called Heta Oni (I believe it was). Heta Oni was much *much* longer and incomplete but I admit I liked it better than Ao Oni, maybe because I cared about the characters more.
