There are some fundamental issues here that should be tackled before asking what should ireti do. 1. Most times, God doesn't choose who we get married to, he blesses who we bring to him. 2. You are right on that. Just a quick question which I think can help someone. How can Ireti re-engineer her mind to trust God's words again, since God gave her those words about Ken?
First thing she should do is, go to her bank and rectify all the needed changes. Since she is the landlady, she should issue Ken an immediate quit notice and ensure he does not leave with any of the properties he met there. Then she can leave the rest judgement for God.
Ireto needs to change her password on her account and evict Ken from her Apartment. After all he broke up with her, so it's obvious he would have to move out. Can't wait to hear what his father would say if that were to happen. Hahaha. This is getting more interesting

Before commenting on what Ireti should do, it is important to state that her mum's response to her when she pointed out the perceived tilting point of the relationship was superficial. Apart from the fact that Ken was not really into the relationship as revealed by this episode, it is important to let people know that God places high premium on HONOURING of parent figures (Ephesians 6:1-4). Moreover, God takes us through certain experiences in life so we can learn the best way to handle the BEST He has for us in the future. I believe the experience must have changed the way she addresses supposed subordinates. Personally, I had a quite similar experience that has now become a reference point on how not to handle relationships. Special warning to Rich Sisters, you cannot buy your way into marriage. Also sisters, please don't sell yourself cheaply to all those skillful brothers trying to lure you into their bosom. No matter how unequal the fingers are, each finger must contribute significantly for things to work in a relationship. Back to the question. It was clearly stated that Ken's stay was a temporary arrangement and it was warranted as a result of their relationship so he must be aware that his days in the apartment are numbered (probably already hoping that he will be moving to one of the Ministers' mansions/estate). All access to personal accounts and sensitive document should be withdrawn. Before commenting on what Ireti should do, it is important to state that her mum's response to her when she pointed out the perceived tilting point of the relationship was superficial. Apart from the fact that Ken was not really into the relationship as revealed by this episode, it is important to let people know that God places high premium on HONOURING of parent figures (Ephesians 6:1-4). Moreover, God takes us through certain experiences in life so we can learn the best way to handle the BEST He has for us in the future. I believe the experience must have changed the way she addresses supposed subordinates. Personally, I had a quite similar experience that has now become a reference point on how not to handle relationships.
Special warning to Rich Sisters, you cannot buy your way into marriage. Also sisters, please don't sell yourself cheaply to all those skillful brothers trying to lure you into their bosom. No matter how unequal the fingers are, each finger must contribute significantly for things to work in a relationship.
Back to the question.
It was clearly stated that Ken's stay was a temporary arrangement and it was warranted as a result of their relationship so he must be aware that his days in the apartment are numbered (probably already hoping that he will be moving to one of the Ministers' mansions/estate).
