Students of Pragati present a Devi Shlokam from the Amba Pancharatnam, followed by a Dikshitar Krithi ‘Simhasanasthite’ in Ragamalika and Rupaka talam.

Goddess Amba, slayer of Shumba and Nishumba is the pure ultimate supreme knowledge and wisdom. She is Durga, Jaya, Chandika, praised by the Vedas and the scriptures. My humble salutations to the Mother of Sri Ganesha and the resident of Sri Amba Pura.
Oh Goddess Lalita! Seated on the lion throne and worshiped by the handsome Guruguha;
I bow down to Thee who is:
Worshiped by Brahma and the celestials; Goddess Bagala, worshiped by Parashurama,
The auspicious one, saluted by Vishnu and extolled by the poets,
Who grants auspiciousness to Devatas like Mantrini and Dandini,
The eternally auspicious one, or Nitya Managala , worshiped by Hayagriva & Agastya - born of a pot.
