Our 2015 Acadia has the same system for the rear seats folding. It’s very easy, very little effort, and fast. Power adds needless complexity. I don’t want to stand in the rain pushing a button waiting for the seat to fold. I’m not opposed to power, fold flat power 3rd row in our 02 Suburban would’ve been great.

The transmission went out on my brother’s 2014 Mazda CX-5 around 80,000 miles and his interior looks 10 years old because of the cheap low quality interior materials.
I don't like gm vehicles either because of their declining quality control but if Joe reviews one, you're damn right im gonna tune in for his amazing reviews.
The redesign exterior looks awesome, I personally am not a big fan of all that chrome, the light interior, even without kids causes some anxiety here, lol. I own a 2019 Terrain SLT black edition, the interior is surprisingly very similar. I personally prefer one colour for a clean sleek look. Curios to see what different trim levels they will offer, for example, a black edition maybe 🙃 I love my terrain, 25,000 km and has been awesome to own so far. Great review, I really like how detailed you are.
I like the redesign of the outside, but the interior is still clunky looking and the infotainment def needs updating. I feel for the money a Telluride or Palisade would be a better choice.

The grey interior contrast is much better than black. Light interiors are fine as long as you don’t have messy passengers. I agree about the sunroof shade: cheap. I recently drove a ‘22 Denali and was very impressed. I hope GM has fixed the 9-speed transmission problems. Too many 6 passenger and the bench seats are very scarce. Not everyone who buys an SUV needs to be concerned about cargo: nicely featured, easy entrance/exit and higher ride height are good talking points for we older drivers.

Outside of the Mustang and the Camaro I feel like every other American brand cars interior is way too robust and clunky. In the words of Mr. Raiti, not slim and trim enough.
@@james2042 I mean you're kind of getting into some pretty premium price territory once you spec the Ram up to the massive touch screen and the super nice interior. And Lincoln's just are not worth it in the new car market 🤷♂️. Just my opinion.

Not to big, not to small. Outside looks good. Like the infortainment screen is builtin rather than sticking on the front of dash like most vehicles. Inside could use more updating but not a deal breaker for me. Glad they left the headlights up above rather than some vehicles lowering them. The third row good for families although one can drop them for additional storage for empty nesters. Twin tailpipes nice! Will a turbo four give you better gas mileage?
Is visibility better on the Acadia? In the Enclave and Traverse the front pillar is in the way when turning left. Also love that you can turn the stop/start off on the Acadia over the Buick and Chevy. Wish I could get the storage of the Enclave though with the look of the Acadia.

I have a 2015 that I'm reasonably happy with, but when the time comes, I won't be replacing it with another Acadia. There comes a point where the continued insistence of manufacturers to shrink every single vehicle they produce gets tiresome.
have you ever ask GMC why the cup holders are not backlit like the Dodge or others that have it, interior lighting is very important, as for the buttons on the steering wheel, that is so bad, my zonk on this is 10
I have a question? Are the AC systems in cars that are built for Florida in new cars different (more powerful) than the AC systems in cars that are built for the north eastern part of the US?

I know they are 2 different types of vehicles but as a family vehicle, how do you feel the Acadia stacks up against the Pacifica. I have seen your video on both so your opinion matters.
This thing is bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. The third row actually looks usable.. I still wish it were a little bit bigger. I don’t like the looks of the Chevrolet Traverse and I don’t wanna spend $70,000 on a Yukon. The Buick enclave is a good alternative
My 2012 kia optima is at the dealership for new engine due to a recall and my motor seizing. I got hooked up with a 2020 acadia denali and its nice. Kia can take their time fixing my optima as my rental is covered on Kia's dime. Wouldnt buy GM products myself but I am enjoying the cooled seats in this hot ass summer.
I love GM products that's all I have car and truck but the push-button transmission come on that's old technology let me see the automatic on the floor stick you should have used the button for the third row
I wish they can redesign the gauges and the dash including the screen transmission style buttons for gear really they should have made it like Yukon style, white colour not great Idea, sun roof bad Idea, and mirror great Idea
I have the 2017 with the same interior. My only complaint is the dash board has a really bad glare that reflects off the window and is very distracting.
I don't know how gm does it. They have some of the absolutely best looking vehicle exteriors with the world's worst interiors. It has to be on purpose.
@@robertbrandywine So, I'll retract my previous comment a bit. I think that the Tahoe/Yukon interiors are awesome, and Buick is great all around. Funny you ask, I actually bought a Enclave Avenir in March. Love it. Got it in the chestnut, it's killer. Very classy. Just the damn Chevys and GMC's after their top SUV are awful.

I dont know why but I don't like the way they mount the infotainment screen. Just looks cheap to me with all the gray plastic and with it set so far back in the plastic. Terrain is the same way.
Trust me I know how you feel!
No its not the SUV to buy, don't buy any new GM cars, If you want a 3 row seats SUV, buy a Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, or a Ford Explorer, don't ever buy any GM.
Still think buick enclave is the best third row suv and fit 7 people
Outside of the Mustang and the Camaro I feel like every other American brand cars interior is way too robust and clunky. In the words of Mr. Raiti, not slim and trim enough.
have you seen a ram 1500 limited? have you seen literally anything made by lincoln in the past 2 years?
@@james2042 I mean you're kind of getting into some pretty premium price territory once you spec the Ram up to the massive touch screen and the super nice interior. And Lincoln's just are not worth it in the new car market 🤷♂️. Just my opinion.
@@NeoTechOps so are you just looking for a luxury car without a luxury price tag?
@@james2042 No I'm saying for the price foreign brands are far bettery in quality and luxury feel as well as refined design. I'm just saying most American brands are cluttered, clunky and a bit behind in design.
@@NeoTechOps so you're talking about premium vehicles (vehicles in between volume and luxury vehicles) like the Hyundai palisade and of the like. Yea ford and GM brands fall flat on their face in the premium segment. Chrysler, jeep, ram, and even dodge have decent interiors
Yep ! Agree on the sunroof not being able to leave it half way ! Zonk , my wife has this and I don't like that , also child locks are on the doors ! Wtf! ? No button for it ? . And u can't adjust the seatbelt height !.. a few things that I didn't like , for $50k that should have been included
I just need Lincoln Aviator thank you 😌🥵
I like the colors and the trim. I also wanted to say that I appreciate your video's. I live in PA and if you were closer to us you would have defiantly earned a customer with all of your informative videos. We may be moving down to Saint Johns county area in Florida in about 3 years. I don't know how far that is from you, but if its within an hour, you've earned a customer after we move. Thanks again for your informative videos.
I have a 2015 that I'm reasonably happy with, but when the time comes, I won't be replacing it with another Acadia. There comes a point where the continued insistence of manufacturers to shrink every single vehicle they produce gets tiresome.
Had the 2016 GMC denali. This one smaller. No automatic folding mirrors, no HUD. Much less room for people and materials. I went with a Buick enclave.
I was expecting more mpg
have you ever ask GMC why the cup holders are not backlit like the Dodge or others that have it, interior lighting is very important, as for the buttons on the steering wheel, that is so bad, my zonk on this is 10
I have a question? Are the AC systems in cars that are built for Florida in new cars different (more powerful) than the AC systems in cars that are built for the north eastern part of the US?
Hi Joe, Thank you for bringing us excellent car reviews. I have been watching your videos for months. Since I am not a native English speaker, I couldn’t totally understand some of your closing words at the end of each video. What is Big Guns McGee? Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for being so dedicated to the channel! My camera man Tom works out a lot and had big biceps, so his nick nick name is big guns McGee.
Raiti's Rides I got it. Thank you for the prompt response. I will be in Miami next week, flying from Taiwan. I am not sure if it is close to routes where you usually test the cars. If I see you, I definitely will give you and big guns McGee a big applause.
no power fold 3rd row seats, analog dials in the dash and no Head Up Display....GM/GMC need to update their luxury vehicles
If I go Enclave I'm going to have to buy used to keep the price down.
@@robertbrandywine I get it but I don’t really care. I’m gonna keep this thing for 10 years so my car is worth nothing when I sell them
My 2012 kia optima is at the dealership for new engine due to a recall and my motor seizing.
I got hooked up with a 2020 acadia denali and its nice. Kia can take their time fixing my optima as my rental is covered on Kia's dime.
Wouldnt buy GM products myself but I am enjoying the cooled seats in this hot ass summer.
That what you get when you buy cheap stuff 😁😁😁😁
I love GM products that's all I have car and truck but the push-button transmission come on that's old technology let me see the automatic on the floor stick you should have used the button for the third row
Is the car overheating little @12:00 or that’s the normal engine temperature
I don’t like that color combo inside. Just pure grey would have been nice
I have the same one but it’s white with black interior and I love it
I wish they can redesign the gauges and the dash including the screen transmission style buttons for gear really they should have made it like Yukon style, white colour not great Idea, sun roof bad Idea, and mirror great Idea
Why complain about colors. Just indicate what the interior options are and what you might prefer. I'm sure one of the options is to your liking.
I have the 2017 with the same interior. My only complaint is the dash board has a really bad glare that reflects off the window and is very distracting.
Awesome review Joe another banger. Very nice looking 2020 GMC Acadia Denali. Would love to see a 2019 or 2020 Chevy Tahoe RST 1 day.
It doesn’t matter what the interior looks like for me. The kids and their friends destroy it anyway
This is so very true!
Hi. Really like your videos. Very detail with lots of positive vibes. Please do one for 2020 4Runner. Thanks.
Thanks for saying that! Any particular trim level?
TRD Pro
never buy GMC Acadia I have 2013 and nothing but transmission problem
Isso e uma maquina pena que o brasil nao tem esse carro
Acadia Denali, or Palisade Calligraphy...... 🤔
Their small SUVs need the interior design level from their newly introduced full-sizers.
Bro me again , question . Why is there tape on the passenger door armrest . what's beneath the tape . Peace ✌
I don't know how gm does it. They have some of the absolutely best looking vehicle exteriors with the world's worst interiors. It has to be on purpose.
I totally agree with you!
What do you think of the Enclave Avenir two-tone interior?
@@robertbrandywine So, I'll retract my previous comment a bit. I think that the Tahoe/Yukon interiors are awesome, and Buick is great all around. Funny you ask, I actually bought a Enclave Avenir in March. Love it. Got it in the chestnut, it's killer. Very classy. Just the damn Chevys and GMC's after their top SUV are awful.
Not the biggest fan of GM but I give credit where it’s due. Definitely looks nice... credit definitely isn’t do on the gear changer... 😖 it looks SO aftermarket...
You are so very right!
Las peores camionetas del mundo la conpre x buenas I neta estoy decepcionado la mala calidad que ofrecen son hermosas cómodas pero mecánicamente súper latosas
I’m not sure if I like the beige and gray interior colors. It’s ok I guess. I like the exterior of this vehicle a lot. The interior was a bit disappointing. Great job young man great job 👍
I can totally understand your decision. Thanks for always watching!
GMC interiors are cheesy looking need to update fast The exterior is nice Don’t like that off white with the gray
I like the off white, but the contrasting color should be black, not gray. I'm all about the guages and instrument display but it wasn't even shown.
You might need to re-watch Eric. They were shown.
Joe, after watching so many uploads and leaving few comments under your videos I decided to subscribe.
Even though I disagree some of your remarks and criteria on evaluating cars and trucks, I appreciate your enthusiasm and ability to not to push one brand over the other as a reviewer. Your reviews are great for getting an initial idea about the cars and trucks to go ahead and do one's own personal testing and having an idea objectively. I hope you will be able to keep going on this pace and content to help individuals such as myself who are true car enthusiasts. Thank you for your efforts
