The worst part is when it's a group project to show professionals and you're the one who is ruining it. It happened to me three times or so. I wasn't that bad when i started school, it eventually became worst to the point i couldn't remember what to say. I was really embarrassed but had to stand there to the end in front of everyone including the students, staffs from our school and staffs from the firm until the questions/answers ended. I knew i would cry at any minute but i forced myself to stay calm and acted natural. I felt deeply hurt but kept smiling.. At every group project, i knew no one was happy to have me in their group and some members would switch to other groups when i got in theirs. But i feigned ignorance, talked and laughed with them like i didn't know that they were avoiding me and talked behind my back. I understand because my poor performance can affect their grades. Sorry, i had to talk about it. No one knows about that in my family nor my boyfriend. I always had good grades and they think that i nailed my study, I'm just too embarrassed to talk about it with them.
I have found that if you have crippling anxiety practicing your speech too much only makes it worse. I prefer to leave room for improvisations because remembering my speech word by word is only gonna make me even more stressed.
@toxicbody and what is so special about English to be proud of? here you speak Swedish and your nation is one of the most advanced nations in the world! to be honest I like French and Italian more the English, I would love to have one of them as a mother language.
I will prefer longer slimmer table , face only one sided to the front. Front have a camera / mirror where each of us can see our face expression from the front screen if needed
