Nice one! I finally got some Veto bags myself this Spring and hope to complete a loadout this weekend after I pick up a few more hand tools. Minor suggestion: if they're not rechargeable, get Lithium batteries for your testers. Not only do they last a lot longer, their most important benefit, imho, is that they won't leak in your expensive testers and other equipment. Even name brand alkalines can leak, ESPECIALLY if they were made in Dragon Country (even if the same brand, e.g. Energizer or Duracell).
For cleanliness of the bag and factors alike, do you or anyone suggest the tp-xxl in black or regular veto colors, v-swap options don’t mean much to me - any and all opinions welcome
Yeah so the original color, the gray always gets pretty dirty for me and the brown leather will wear out, depends if you like that. The blackout versions from what I can tell don't look much different after using them for a long time

Great review. I really wish veto would stop putting the metal plate in the lids of the xl, and xxl bags up at the hinge area. Id prefer the lid pocket to stay the same size but be located higher when closed. in other words flip flop the location of the pocket and the metal plate. So when the lid pocket is full it woul allow the velcro to hook properly and the zippers to function more smoothly when the bellowed pocket is half to fully full. It would also make the back pocket lid elastic strap function properly. The way they have the lids in theses bags currently in my opinion is stupid and less convenient then they should be. Edit… I also wish they would add a few D rings or loops to the exterior of the back like they did on the MB3 or the MB4.
I know this is a dumb question. But is there anyway you found to strap this like a backpack. Thank you, I know in the past you had a video like that for the MB bag. Thank you, love you videos!
I can try, I got asked about that a few times. But if you're in the market for one the MB5B is the closest thing that is like the TPXXL and a tech PAC backpack combined
I actually did it I have this bag too. I got backpack straps on Amazon and clipped the ends of each strap to the top hooks on the bag. The straps are rated for 40lbs but my bag is only 25lb max fully loaded.

Do you know if the 680 fits in the pockets on the side ?
The tip of the clamp will stick out, you wouldn't be able to zip it closed.

Do the veto bags come with the inserts? Or u have to buy separate?
They do come with them, normally it's the default tool storage and if you want any special panels you can buy them separate to change out

Hi what Fulke meters will fit in the side pockets? Fluke 376? 87V? Or if you know the dimensions of the pockets?
My Fluke 376FC fits in the side pocket. It's easier to remove the leads first.

The TP-LC is hard to stand because of how small it is, the TP-XL had that issue but they fixed it and I haven't had that issue with this one
