Thanks for taking the time to check out my latest video on my newest service bag. I wanted to thank all of my loyal viewers for watching and commenting on my videos. If you haven't subscribed yet, please consider doing so and click the bell to be notified of my next video release.
The strap on the back is to hold the top cover in place when you have it open. You can tuck it under the strap.
Interesting, thank you! Mine is heavy enough to lay there because of the weight of the container in it but that would make sense if it wasn't.
Nice🤙
The elastic strap on iPad pocket is for the front cover to keep it open
Awesome bag & even better tools 👍 I'm currently running the Veto MCT & MB2.
Awsome bag set up. Love the layout with that bag. Great video as always Rick!!!!
That's an awesome bag. I too used a Klien electricians tool pouch when I first started. Actually I passed it down to my apprentice when he started. I'm now using the MC bag but I may also add that bag to my repertoire. Thanks for the great video as always Rick!
That's cool to hear Bill, I think some of these newer guys don't realize we didn't start off making $25 an hour and had all the fanciest brand new tools. I remember in 1995 when I started at $6.50 an hour when minimum wage was $4.25. Thanks 4 watching👍👍
Good stuff! Just started my own little RUclips channel and I'm happy I found your channel. Gonna dive into the rest of your videos tomorrow!
Cool 👍👍RUclips is interesting to say the least, I wish you luck.
I really like the quality of the veto bags
I have several. I also use the regular gages like that.
I think I had posted a video in my channel as well of the MCt I think
Excellent video, sir! I agree with you on the tape measure clips. The only extra use for them I’ve seen is some guys put their drill there. I’m not sold on that but I haven’t done it for myself. I have an older Bosch impact that doesn’t even have a clip. So I would be storing inside like you. Although it doesn’t seem to hinder your overall loadout. I have a few other vetos and have loved them all for their purpose, this bag is calling my name... Thanks again for an awesome vid
My pleasure Kevin, I had a 12v Bosh prior, it actually survived better and longer than this Milwaukee😕 Thanks 4 commenting and watching👍👍
I have a Dewalt atomic 20v impact and within 3-4 days it started pulling the tape clip off of it. So I had to stop that pretty quickly.
Great video brother thank you
Cool bag
I switched awhile ago to two bags since this one 🤣👍👍. They are all great bags they all have a personality to them. What works in situation might not work as well in another.
Van tour next? Lol
That’s an awesome bag when I’m in the market for a new one this one here might be the one.
You'll like any of the Veto bags 👍👍 thanks 4 watching!
Like a boss! Great layout and review. And some very good constructive criticism, there's always room for improvement. 👍
Nice bag!
Thanks Hughesman 👍👍 Have a great 4th!
Nice review. I just bought the Tech MC but wish I would've seen this one first since the smaller footprint would probably work better for me when I'm climbing up crane ladders. Oh well, guess I'll have to get that one too lol
Thanks👍👍. I have the basic MC it's a good bag to. I would rather have gotten the tech mc over the mc but it wasn't out then.
Those tape measure mounts are for hanging cordless tools on. Same for the front flap mount. If you are climbing a ladder you can hang your drill there.
I wanted to tell you thank you, I've been starting to use that for my drill lately and it's been perfect. It's freed up a lot of room on the inside.
I asked Santa Claus for this bag. We shall see
@@clintmullins4406 that's how I got mine after I got mad at Santa for not bringing it. 😁
Cool stuff
Thanks
Which is magnetic door switch do u have ? Thanks
The design looks a lot like my CLC 1509 when it wears out I will have to try this one.
I couldn't get more than a year out of the clc bags, these will last a min of 5 years, if not the warranty will take care of it. You'll like any of Veto bags if you get one. Thanks 4 watching 👍👍
Good vid Rick ... I have a Veto Pro Pac OT-XL but loaded out it is heavy as hell ... Almost mad at myself for spending that much money when there are just as good bags out there for half the cost ...
Eddy I would just love to have one with brass zippers, them plastic ones I just hate, they keep breaking and hanging up!
@@captainkirk7702 That's a interesting thought, I haven't had to many problems with the zippers but you can't over stuff the bad or they will give out. I'm seldomly using the zippers in this bag because they only come half way down.
@Billy Simmons Shure you can, that's what I generally do when I'm making a quick trip from the truck to the site.
İt's realy realy nice 👍👍👍
Think the side tape Measure holder is for hanging impacts or drills. But the Milwaukee hangers are not the best for doing that in my experience.
That could be a possibility👍👍I would be worried my drill would fall off onto concrete and self terminate.
I agree I have tried it and yes it will fall off
The K is silent for the love of God.
Love this back had it for a few months but I see that you suffer from the same affliction as us all “cramming as many tools possible is a bag “ lol that was the primary reason I changed to it was to get outta the back back cause I had started carrying every tool I had lol
I've considered removing the Irwin multi nut driver and a small knipexs pliers but everything else is pretty much needed👍👍
Interesting. Good review. How much whole kit weigh? I've been noticing that the hardest part of getting a bag like that is to balance useful tools vs overall weight.
He liked it but didn't even answer the question lol
What was the question?
@@HVACRSurvival How much does the whole thing weigh?
get Some clip on pouches for all those tape holders... Customize Bru.....
Good set up on the TP-XL. Like the video good job. How much does it weigh?
Thanks Eddie!👍👍
Mine is 24.5lbs.
Right angle tool, make or model? Do you find it to be durable?
Thanks for the video
Dewalt I purchased the newest one because it's smaller. Yes it works great. amzn.to/2Nj4NiW
hUhUgemungus lol 👍 thanks for the info. I think I'll get one
I've had good "luck" with Veto bags, until this year that is. Purchased an MB2 Tall and the zipper ripped out at 7 months. The entire warranty process took around 5 weeks, from send out to received. The worst part is they "repaired" the bag, didn't bother to replace the zipper so it still has the damaged tooth just waiting to pop again.
I doubt I will ever purchases another.
That sucks, I've been pretty lucky so far. Generally I receive a brand new loner bag within a few days and I send back my bag and their box all prepaid. And generally within a week or less they'll tell me to keep the bag. But they don't usually cover the zippers because generally that means they were damaged by over stuffing or a tool caused it. Not saying you did that but that's what I read on their website when I read about it because I had a similar issue with one of the because I had a similar issue with one of the zippers derailing.
This bag seems pretty nice , I keep hearing good things about it , I keep looking for it but , shocker , not available in my country ... Sigh...
There is so many things I would like to say about that but I just erased them. So I'll keep it PC,😏 where there is a will there is a way. 👍👍
@@HVACRSurvival I keep tryna get my boss to agree to work with smart probes , once they provide us with them , I'll be able to work with a minimalist bag , for now I keep dragging a lot of tools on every job .
We have a regulation over here that o found out about recently , apparently now , every time I gauge up , I need to fill up a certificate that says I checked for leaks with the digital leak detector on the Schrader ports I used , so I have to carry that with me as well ...😓
@@sterlingarcher46 Here's the most important question. Who enforces these rules?
@@HVACRSurvival Yeah , it's like just in case some regulation authority decides to dissect every job reports and what not , but the boss man said we had to do it so , you know ... What u gonna do ey 🙄
What country...?
Looks like they try to cram too many pouches in there, there needs to be a designated space for a drill. I was surprised you didn’t have a gallo gun and extra co2 cartridges.
I've recently started to put my drill on the outside tape measure hanging spot. The Milwaukee 12v has a nice metal hook that works perfect. I generally keep my gallowgun in my toolbox in my van and only need it sometimes once every week or two. I try to carry only tools that I might use on every call just so I don't lose anything cuz I have a tendency to do that 🙈.
I did not see anything for the magnetic door switch in the list can you please list manufacturer and model number thanks
amzn.to/38qFDUi
Here is a direct link to it. Thanks for asking. I will add it to my kit.
Hey there, would you say being a HVAC Tech is worth it ? Looking into getting certified.
It's been best decision I made that turned out great for me. There is so many different options that you can choose.
Perfect man! I’m a aircraft technician, but have 3 days off a week. Looking into my local school.
How heavy is this bag tp xl with all the tools? Thanks
Between 20-25lbs, I use the mb3 for now. I bounce back n forth between bags.
@@HVACRSurvival Thanks
What flashlight is that?
What’s that little parts organizer?
It's made by Plano, but I would like to find a larger one. Nor Cal Dave has a link to one that's larger and still fits.
Thanks, I think that’s a good size for that setup. Would be a good fit for my MB2
Anywhere to put a multimeter in there?
Depends what you want to carry, it's big enough for a full size meter, I choose to carry mine in the case outside of the bag.
Hey Rick, what bag you using now, are you still using this?
Nope. I bought the tech MC blackout backpack, it's really nice but it doesn't fit in half the places I'm working so I don't carry it very often and when I purchase the tec mc they gave me the free MB3 and I've been using that most the time but I'm going to try the MB5B here hopefully soon when it comes in.
I am surprised, the TP-XL seamed to have worked the best for you judging from your videos @@HVACRSurvival
There's nothing wrong with it but what I've noticed is that these bags keep getting bigger and heavier but not holding really anything more, it really is cosmetic.
How _tippy_ is it relative to the TipPy4b...?
This has a larger base so it's much more stable. I don't believe it has fell over yet. Good question👍👍
@@HVACRSurvival Hoping they do the same with the TP series at some point; .basically my only complaint with the TP4b, wish they'd extend the base out another inch or two in the front and put some beefier D-rings for the straps.
@@scrambler350 I agree with you, the way the straps are attached on the tp4b is pretty amateur. I'm surprised they haven't ripped out.
Just like a boss. Very clean. Almost like never taken out of truck. Lol just kidding. I know electricians don’t get dirty. Lmao. No seriously. I am jealous of organized people. If I bought that bag yesterday. It would be full of dust and trash by midnight weighing in at ( who cares it’s heavy , I just need a Phillips head and pliers. ) lol only making jokes. Don’t get panties in a wad. My top plumber keeps buying one of these. He loves it. He’ll rip the liner out and hang it beside him on joists. But he never seems to line it up right. Somebody flushed in his last bag. Lmao. I get a kick out of it. His process is super slow while bringing every tool inside house. Just need a level , tape , and hacksaw. But he carries his needle nose inside every call. Plumbers don’t use needle nose but once a green moon. I can’t imagine ever needing all those tools in the same day. I am lazy and wanna get done with least amount of effort so I can go enjoy the things I work for. Very jealous. Wish my bags would stay that clean.
Tools and bags are a lot of money so I take extra good care of my things. Plus I'm very OCD about wear n tear until I just don't give a flying F🙄 because they now have scratches on them 🤣
👍
#106 thumbs up
Maybe an update after using it for a few months?
I'm still using it. It's a little heavy and I still like 2 use my tp4b for small jobs but I'm still using it and I like it.
@@HVACRSurvival thank you sir. Just ordered one this morning.
How much does your bag weigh?
21-23lb last time I measured it.
@@HVACRSurvival I hear ya man, build up them shoulders after a while with that haha. I just ordered the mb3b from Veto Pro Pac. I got tired of cheaper bags breaking.
Would you say this is better than tech mc?
I'm not sure that's a choice someone else can make because it all comes down to personal preference. Veto makes a great tool bag either way.
@@HVACRSurvival Would love to see a comparison video.... nobody has made a comparison video and both are really compact you cant evan find a picture in the whole internet of thrm side by side to see size difference lol.
@@cesarperez-lr3ml I believe on the product video, the owner of Veto has a regular MC bag on the tailgate pretty close to the tp xl. The regular MC and Tech MC bags have the same dimensions
What was that magnetic door switch. I think that’s what I heard.
the orange device bottom right corner inside the pouch is a magnetic door switch bypass. Basically the device opens into an L shape and holds the door switch in so the furnace will run.
Shut up and take my money🤩🤩🤩
That good 🤣🤣👍👍
Vetos customer service ruins the bag. So I will never purchase another one!!!
Really? I had two bags replaced for free and they even shipped me a box to send it back in. (They didn't provide me anything to do the video, I just made it for something to show. )
