We in Houston need to watch the next 7 days or so. The models are showing a Texas upper coast landfall to sw Louisiana if the system turns north into Gulf. Take a look at the models and patterns. Could take same path as Beryl.
What rain? The Fox app has been saying 60-80% chance daily since last weekend. Today is 9/1/24. Here in SW Houston we haven't had a 1/10 inch. Love you guys, but the rain forecast recently has been way overblown.
We've had some rain here in West Palm but our concern is WIND! You guys in Houston are pretty low and surge becomes a concern but of course surge is a WIND related event as well (not rain). The main thing is NO DEVELOPMENT in the ATLANTIC during this window of nastiness as I eluded to above.

I think the weather forecasting these days is making The Creator God of this World have the LAST LAUGH. With the God of Abraham in the mix, there is no forecasting of anything except destruction of this world if humanity continues with SIN.
