Like life itself there are no 'right' versions, there are just different ones. As your shirt states you are Gay AF... I'm Straight AF... neither is right, just different. Mind you I find it incredibly refreshing to have a gay reaction to Metal, its simply something that I have not experienced so you are adding to my personal life experience as you add to your own. This can only be a good thing and it is what comes from differences I think.
@@nigelbattle Now think on this - you said how proud of them you are - but can you even begin to imagine how much pride must have been swelling in the hearts of Floor's parents, attending their very first Nightwish Concert! There are clips from a Dutch TV show following Floor and them, as they attend it and afterwards. Floor was so concerned and nervous about cracking at such a moment that she made sure she avoided even looking towards where they were seated for the whole show of which this was just the last song (with a bit of the end of the previous one tacked on, just to confuse you). Attendance was 22,000, so not their biggest, but their home crowd, and Finland is not a densely populated country, so for there, it is HUGE. And the Nightwish army is very inclusive to all - It doesn't matter what gender, sexuality, ethnicity, culture, native language, skin colour or anything else, all are welcome. I believe we have had Nightwish played on the ISS and almost certainly Antarctica, but they aren't yet in the tour schedule!
Well, that you know of. I mean... all the other Nightwish reactors before they start they don't tell us their sexuality. Y'all assume everyone's sexuality and think everyone is straight but... nah it's not like that. As far as we know many of them can be gay, bi pan or wathever so I really don't think this is the first time you've seen someone lgbtq reacting to NW.
@@ale_98_ True, but I typically find, most people don't assume anything, or go looking for anything specific, least, it's not my concern when I load a video. For people that do mention it, just keep in mind the comments are probably only 1 or 2% of the actual fanbase cause our society has terrified people of speaking their hearts. I wholeheartedly commend people that feel music like this, cause we need our heart back.
"We were here!" is so incredibly powerful. It's so hard, for me, to stand strong and declare, "I am here!" instead of simply hanging in the background unnoticed. I've spent a large part of my life as a spectator. This song has encouraged me in the past few years to find myself and stand up. That line will always bring tears to my eyes.
It is more than just mankind, or even just life - it is the story of our planet! But it is really life that Dr Dawkins and Tuomas describe as The Greatest Show On Earth, and the Hadeon Eon is merely the foreword, although in this show particularly impressive with its pyrotechnic description of the asteroid collision which gave us our moon (tides are important for life) followed after a pause by the late Hadeon bombardment, which brought masses of minerals to earth, and some have theorised even the original amino acids that created life itself. But it is not until the Archean Eon - seen from afar in Floor's first vocal - that we can place the spark that made it, the life form that survived, and the Last Universal Common Ancestor (LUCA) of all life on earth. To cover it all in a single song is beyond ambitious, it is stupifying, and I doubt if any composer other than Tuomas could have done it, even skimming through as fast as he does, in such a short piece. But he did, and Nightwish produced it and I believe even after having Human :||: Nature and listening to every track repeatedly, it will still be this piece with is Tuomas Holopainen's Opus Magna.

This song is so special! When I first heard it....I had to look up the lyrics to find out what the song is all about! Now...after listening to it dozens of times, I know what the song is about! I think the world would be a much better place for all of us understood how lucky we are to be that select egg that got fertilized, and we were born into this world! I wish everyone could listen to and understand through this song, that everyone is important...and we need to embrace everyone that is born into our world. Thanks for another great reaction..even though you posted this video almost a year ago!
Love you man. Watching Floor and Nightwish together with you, makes me feel my emotions double. Double as deep. Because your enormous sensitive and spontaneous purity, the way you dive into it, almost as an innocent, unharmed, super curious child, discovering the world for the first time, and how you let yourself boundlessly carry away in the music, the vocals, the show, the atmosphere and the whole performance, i discover things in myself i've never felt before. That's quite an accomplishment. Big compliment. I love your channel. You are one of the best out there. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, thank you! It is one song with several parts/movements- one symphony, IMHO. It is one of the best songs ever written in history. A song with this subject matter - the origin and evolution of life on earth and our future, with readings from Richard Dawkins himself - has no equal in history.

Literally: The Greatest Show with The Greatest Band on Earth 🤘👍 Btw. Tuomas told in one of his interviews that always when they come to that part "we were here", he closes his eyes and enjoys the ride

I think i get what you´re saying, music can be so much more than just entertainment or something you put on when you do the dishes. It moves the heart and soul, it makes your life richer and fuller, and last but not least it´s the best therapy in the world. Once in a while you stumble over a band, a singer or a genre you never listened to before and you wonder how you could live without it for x number of years, that´s how i felt when i discovered Nightwish nine months ago. Now you are having that same experience, wonderful thing isn´t it? Some reaction channels seem kinda fake or like they just do it for the wiews but not this one, you´re obviously super passionate about it and i like that.
If I recall right, it was buiding a thunder shower right when this was on air. Those clouds over the stadium are real, not a trick. It was really dark. This is my hometown
Absolutely wonderful reaction to an epic composition. Just the look of pure joy and awe on your face is everything. I cried right along with you. Be yourself my man. We love watching you react. You are one of the very few reactors on YT that gives true feeling reactions. Be safe, be well. BTW - if you haven't already, try Sleeping Sun from this same show. Floor's style and grace are overwhelming.
Jeez Nigel, always nice to see how you get emotionally attached to the music. Being who you are and showing without shame is so important. Ad after having a crush on Floor it became loving her. All of them are worth loving, for it's a exceptional band with exceptional musicians.
Great reaction Nigel and you apriciate the Nightwish music as it it is and that's so beautiful. You react what everybody shoud do. Thoumas is just a great artist and the band together are making it so beautiful that's why i love Nightwish. They accept everybody no matter you are gay, straight or enything else.
You might want to listen to the studio version where the last chorus "we were here" has much more powerful builds. That always gets me. Great reaction. Keep doing what you're doing! ❤
Music is something that connects us to all humans .. Since the beginning of time it has existed, first as mere noises and later as complex melodies ... When listening to Nightwish I always draw the same conclusion, one may like a style or another of music but we always have to be impartial and admit when one listens to art in its purest form and that is Nightwish .. More than a symphonic metal band, a way of understanding music and melodic evolution. Congratulations for those emotions when listening to them .. Good luck. !!!
I really hope you’ll consider doing more of Floor’s performances from the Beste Zangers show (that was the show where you saw her perform Phantom of the Opera) - I think you’ll really love seeing them!
Thank you so much for sharing these videos and being yourself. Your videos really brighten up my days these days and I love how you get emotional and what you say. Thank you and keep going! 🙂
If you notice when Tuomas piano playing in the beginning and there was only single notes and 6 notes being hit those 6 notes being played as carbon because 6 is C for carbon, so in the beginning when Tuomas is playing the piano that is basically representing how life first started. And when he started playing those long notes but with the Same 6 notes that means the carbon is growing and forming. Just for consideration there is a lot of relations to life. The fireworks represent the Big Bang etc. i would love to continue about this song and all the details but it’s just so much lol. Also which those multiple fireworks people had theory that a planet was hit by earth and that planet created the moon when the planet hit the earth. So thats why there was multiple fireworks as well
This is my favorite song and favorite performance of them (over P&P because it has a positive message, although last act of P&P is my favorite "act" of Nightwish). P.S. I assume you've seen Cabaret? That film connects with these times spookily. Love it though.
Once again a wonderful reaction. What you saw at the beginning was Tuomas's musical version of the "Big Bang". This is an epic performance and you got the essence of what the band was providing to us. Everything about this video is magical. Very pleased you enjoyed this. Use this band's amazing work to inspire you. Best wishes from the great high desert of southeast Arizona. Stay safe.
I can say honestly that this band helped me a lot in the quarantene with their incredible and unique athmosphere. You are an incredible person, I'm enjoying your videos very much! you already react to most of my favorites, but it's kinda hard to find a bad song of them, so... maybe take a look at the official videos of "Noise", "Shoemaker" (do a reserch about this one before), "Élan"... thank you! :)
WE WERE HERE. That is the statement that makes this for me. I love this song, it is an experience in and of itself. Wembly version you have the narrator there in person (Richard Dawkins) and you have troy using a guitar and E-bow in stead of the pipes...Buenos Aires 2018 is actually two songs Most of GSOE but before the very end of it the do GLS then finish GSOE. So like Raven said there is no right or wrong....just what you want to hear that particular day. Peace out hun. There are three reactors that I always check for before anything.....TanktheTech, Chase Carneson and You. So please stay true to you.

thank you for watching with me :)
Great reaction as usual. You are part of the Nightwish army. Never stop being yourself. Peace ✌🏻
Same reaction I had the first time...one of the most amazing compositions and performances ever.
thanks so much for watching with me :)
Thank you, thank you! It is one song with several parts/movements- one symphony, IMHO. It is one of the best songs ever written in history. A song with this subject matter - the origin and evolution of life on earth and our future, with readings from Richard Dawkins himself - has no equal in history.
Glad you like it!
changed my life for sure
Me, looking at you starting to listen to this masterpiece.
You, Wow.
Me, This is going to be great............
The most emotional reaction for this Song i seen...and i look many reaction videos of Nightwish songs..at least over 100 "Ghost Love Score" and about 50+ "Greatest Show on Earth" Reaction around the Globe...And you are really Emotional...As i say i saw this Videos a Lot of times but when ever i saw it, everytime a Tear find its way.
What a stunning location eh? I listen to this to bring be back from poet & the pendulum
Also I mean how can you not love them? They credit EVERYONE. Like no matter how small a role they played. It's beautiful.
We were here!
We were here . Lovely Reaction.
Your next Nightwish song could be "7 Days to the Wolves" or "Shudder Before the Beautiful" live at Wembley
Just one long amazing song done in true Nightwish fashion.
Be yourself Brother. You are beautiful and awesome just as you are.
Thank you, I will!
Literally: The Greatest Show with The Greatest Band on Earth 🤘👍
Btw. Tuomas told in one of his interviews that always when they come to that part "we were here", he closes his eyes and enjoys the ride
Thank you for sharing your reaction. You truly let the music get to your heart and move you; NW never fails to get us very emotional and you're so brave for showing your vulnerable side in your vids.
I know you might receive a lot of negative comments because internet but remember there are millions supporting you and loving you; so keep doing what you love!
Love your reactions bro, and this was no exception. Your Nightwish journey is amazing to watch and I can see how much joy it brings you, and in turn brings me joy reminiscing of when I first started my Nightwish journey, it's a beautiful thing to watch and share with you 😊
Tampere is a great version! I also love Wembley because of the guest appearance of Richard Dawkins at the end.
You ain't crazy, we get you. YOU WERE HERE!
(And we were all here with you!)
This is a PROPER reaction to seeing this! Very well done sir!
I love this performance. It's my favorite.
I really enjoyed this reaction...as always!
Yay, thank you!
@@nigelbattle Did you hear that Marko announced today that he is retiring from Nightwish and public life? :(
Love your reaction, just beautiful
ty for watching!! ❤️❤️
I just love how you dive in music with your ❤ open.. stay safe and strong 😘
Good luck. !!!
thank you for watching with me!!
Marko Hietala just announced he's quitting not only Nightwish, but the Music Industry entirely... A DARK DAY
This was beautiful....thank you❤️
Fantastic reaction 😁 👍
I really hope you’ll consider doing more of Floor’s performances from the Beste Zangers show (that was the show where you saw her perform Phantom of the Opera) - I think you’ll really love seeing them!
you made me cry and now i'm here at work bubbling, not the first time with a Nighwish song....lol
lol aww ty for watching with me!
Glad you have experienced this song now also. It enriches your life doesn't it? To me it has done so certainly.
it was amazing!!!
Thank you so much for sharing these videos and being yourself. Your videos really brighten up my days these days and I love how you get emotional and what you say. Thank you and keep going! 🙂
You should react to Human :||: Nature in order its their latest CD. Its beautiful.
Be aware you won't find live versions yet because it was released last year and covid happened.
Ughhhh....I was a hot mess by the end of that.....again
SAMEEE
You are human and so we too...so...Welcome to family...life is too short....we where here!!!
Stargazers at Tampere is pretty cool
I love your reactions and you put into words why i get emotional by listening to Nightwish.
You are beautiful inside and out!
You're going to love this song
Oh man, this is my favorite song! I asked you several times to react. Thanks
So thats why there was multiple fireworks as well
ty for watching with me
Thanks for watching the video until the end and not stopping it after Floor's last word as so many other reactors are doing. Great reaction 😊👍
This is my favorite song and favorite performance of them (over P&P because it has a positive message, although last act of P&P is my favorite "act" of Nightwish).
P.S. I assume you've seen Cabaret? That film connects with these times spookily. Love it though.
I need to see it!!
you are a wonderful man , love your reactions , love from holland
Once again a wonderful reaction. What you saw at the beginning was Tuomas's musical version of the "Big Bang". This is an epic performance and you got the essence of what the band was providing to us. Everything about this video is magical. Very pleased you enjoyed this. Use this band's amazing work to inspire you. Best wishes from the great high desert of southeast Arizona. Stay safe.
There is no wrong version of Nightwish song. But this one was the best :-) We have only one life in this body, enjoy it.
I can say honestly that this band helped me a lot in the quarantene with their incredible and unique athmosphere. You are an incredible person, I'm enjoying your videos very much!
you already react to most of my favorites, but it's kinda hard to find a bad song of them, so...
maybe take a look at the official videos of "Noise", "Shoemaker" (do a reserch about this one before), "Élan"... thank you! :)
every song is an experiance..the evolution of the universe and earth.. awesome created by Tuomas.loved your reaction. greets from the Netherlands.
WE WERE HERE !
