im using DXVK to convert older DX 11 10 and 9 titles to Vulkan. it has really helped with stabilizing PU performance increasing 1 percent lows and even in some gams deliver better FPS. so, you might want to look at it
6800 Is Just the best 1440p card atm. Totally destroy 3070/ti in everything, pwr draw, raster, Better temps, more oc margin. My 6800 run a lot faster than these test, i have an XFX qick set 2480 core and 2150 mem with fast timings with huge undervolt from 1125 to 900 MV!!! Never seen over 60* with max 35% curve fan...With these settings this 3070 its like a Fiat Panda vs BMW M3. I pref to have these improvement than RT performance 👍🏻
Wow! I have the same overclock on my PowerColor Fighter RX6800. TimeSpy Graphics score of 17740 points. Also stays very cool and quiet. Fans never run over 50% fan speed, if they turn on. The 16GM of VRAM is also a plus. Very happy, especially @ a price of $500usd. I refuse to pay much more and fuel the graphics card dumpster fire we are still living in.

Seems to be i can t mantein my old oc settings so i pref to wait next realese. I suggest to undervolt and test on games, a good start is 2400 2100 mem, max pwr limit and try to lower as you can the voltage 👍🏻. Don t fortget to put a good manual curve fan

So not only Im saving 100€ buying an RX 6800 instead of the 3070 (TUF would be my choice) but also I will save money using the System so over time probably another 100€..

Well 1080p RT on the 6800 is often pretty good, but the 3060Ti is much stronger with RT in general. If you really favour RT then you should go Nvidia, basically.
Ray tracing is overrated. Don't need it. I don't know why people advertise it so much, it's minimal increase in reflection quality that's cool for maybe an hour, but the power strain is nowhere near worth it

The RX 6800 is bought with a margin for the future. While the rx 6700 xt in a year will begin to sink in gaming new products below 60 fps at ultra settings in QHD resolution

AND its cheaper in Germany 100-150€ less (550-600€) for a RX 6800 while the 3070 still is at 700€.. so in the End with the Energy bill you save over 200€ going for the 6800 which made me right now choose the 6800 when its drops to 500€ in the next weeks - killer price for an awesome 1440p Gaming card. :)

Well ofc the 3070 will perform better with DLSS, then FSR 2.0 should be activated as well on the RX 6800 to even out the chance - but then it wouldn't matter, since DLSS is ahead of DLSS, the test is based on raw rasterization performance.

the 6800 is definitely better than the 3070 in witcher, ac valhalla, dying light and A LOT BETTER in high fps games (where you dont need it). in most other games it is only about 10 fps better, except in the game where you do need it (cyberpunk) amd ray tracing and fsr performs worse than nvidia ray tracing and dlss. so in short: not worth the extra 70 bucks over the 3070.

i have a 6600 xt and for 1080 is AMAZING! The 6800 is a complete overkill for 1080, but a good future proof for 1440p/4K
