Smitty , awesome as usual. I wonder sometimes if the gifts that we have in this world will be greatly amplified in the New Heaven and Earth...CAN'T WAIT UNTIL YOU LEAD WORSHIP AT THAT TIME.!! That is an overwhelming thought!!
This was a fun show to watch, even in replay. Smitty and the band looked like they had a blast bringing back some of the classics from earlier in Michael's career. They covered a lot of my personal favorites, and anytime I get to hear Michael perform some of his greatest hits live, I count it as a blessing. My only critique would be that it felt a little bit rushed at the end of the classics part of the show, but it was still enjoyable anyway. Thanks for posting this, along with some of the other gems that you've pulled out of the archives. We appreciate your efforts.
For a short of 90 minutes time he had to perform 25 songs, that equals 3,6 minutes/song. In such cases - this time in terms of the classics part - you cannot do anything, but make a medley. Despite of this setlist concern the whole concert was refreshing and excellent! ;)
Smitty's the greatest! Too bad this fan voted show didn't have more songs he doesn't regularly do. Instead of Go West Young Man, would love to hear Seed To Sow. Instead of Secret Ambition how about The Throne or Hand of Providence? Instead of Friends, how about The Race Is On...Basically he's the greatest and it would be a treat to hear songs we never hear live.
