Hi dude. I'm here becouse of your tips about going around barefoot, highly appreciated by the way. You are right about slow down while eating. The same works also with smoking. I always loved tobacco and 4 years ago I quitted cigarettes for pipes and cigar, never regret it.

The wake up call for me was when I threw up in front of my friend one time, and he pointed out that he could make out exactly what I had eaten. He said: "see big guys like you and anon always get the chunky yack, because you guys just shove food down your throat. small guys like me actually HAVE to chew properly, so that doesn't happen". I still have to remind myself to slow down, but the gym leaves me with a ravenous appetite

It’s been about a month now! You’re definitely right, it can be easily forgotten. I find it helpful to remember that building any new habit has its ups and downs. We’re definitely not going to be perfect. For me I’ve chosen one thing, putting the fork down after each bite, and I’m just focusing on that. Potentially if you’re forgetting putting a reminder at your kitchen take could be a cool idea?
I'll try putting down the fork after each bitte. Regarding the reminder on the kitchen table, I'm moving a lot at the moment and don't usually have a kitchen 😂 Traveling is so tough haha (jk) 😜
“What textures can I taste” wow. Putting fork in your non dominant hand, scatter food on plate, drink after each bite and swish it each time. If you tell any food chef that you do/say this while eating you’ll get laughed out the room.
