Here is a tip for you and one that has served me very well with regard to setting up the non-skid surfaces. Once you have the color you want add in some baking soda and mix well. It will render that gritty finish perfectly to scale and looks incredibly realistic.
WEST COAST MODEL BATTLESHIPS Thanks my friend! Canada has been using German tanks since the 70s. There was a a time around Desert Storm 1 where we were going to get Abrams, but it did not happen. The Germans do know how to make a good tank though.
