Life hack; I call it magic. Soak a sponge or washcloth and set it on that sticker for awhile. Like dripping wet...then come back and it should come off with just a kitchen sponge. I'm going through a shed to house conversion on my own with no prior experience of construction here in Texas. One thing I've done recently that has helped my mental sanity is I bought a six pack of queen top sheets in a light blue (I wanted white) that was on clearance on Amazon. I stapled it tightly over my walls so that I don't have to look at unfinished walls for ages. I know it's going to take me time to get everything finished because I'm doing it on my weekends and as I can afford to get supplies. It cost me $30 and I couldn't be happier with it for now. It looks almost like a finished painted wall if you aren't looking too close.

Awesome! I would not use anything oil-based to take off stickers - maybe a very hot washcloth, hair dryer, old credit card, etc - that way - no stains or scratches - very cozy!
Check out a walkin tub. They have a smaller footprint than a regular tub and shower so it might fit next to the window. Also they options such as a wand, shower, spa jets. and lighting to play with your rubber duckie. With a built in seat and low step it would be great for you. They are a little costly, but something that will add to your health.
Several things are great for removing stickers, BUT whatever you use, make sure to clean any oily residue carefully with original Dawn dish detergent and water. Wring rag so its not dripping wet; rinse well and dry the boards. Oily residue will cause issues with any future sealing, staining or painting. AWESOME job on the T&G walls!

I have found that at Lowes & Home Depot they will give you a pretty big discount on damaged lumber. Just an FYI if there is any part of the board that can be used for trim or a filler piece you may want to ask them for it. I've had them just give it to me when I have such a large purchase. The job is looking great!
Those walls are looking amazing. Just a suggestion, you should put the a/c unit in the other window so that air don't blow directly on your head while you sleep. Or maybe put the head of your bed against the wall that connects to the bathroom. Anyway, the place is looking great! 🥰

Hairdryer set to low for about 15 to 20 seconds use a putty knife to lift an edge of the sticker and it should peel right off. You need to not block your a/c intake with your bedding🙂

Hi Jared, there's a product called Goo gone (Goo & adhesive remover). I've used it on those irritating stickers that just won't come off easily. Goo gone lifts that tacky residue without causing damage to the wood. Let it sit a bit for the tougher stickers. You can also use a flat edged plastic scraper to get under the top part of the sticker. Good luck & thanks for creating your content.
I have a suggestion about the roof ceiling. buy one of those Lazer thermometers and point it at the insulation and see what it reads during high noon. if it's reading 90 or more I think as you put up the ceiling boards push some cellulose insulation in the gap so no air exists in the ceiling. I think it will greatly reduce heat transfer. I did that to my house in Phoenix and it really helped. also the Lazer thermometer is a good way to see areas of the house that is leaking. Jason could use it as well. . I'd like to see the diff in heat transfer if he had 1 or 2 metal panels painted white vs the others painted dark

The tongue and groove looks great. A heat gun or blow dryer and a putty knife would work great for taking the stickers off of the wood. Just heat and scrape lightly so as not to gouge the wood. That works on so many things that have pesky stickers.

I know that is hard work cutting down all those trees and bushes in hot weather. I did some of my yard myself last week and had a good laugh at myself too. The branches I was dragging to my burn pile were bigger then me and kicking my butt. Wore me out big time. Got the tallest pine tree ever I need to take down as it's roots are cracking my driveway circle. Not looking forward to that task. Like you said though little bit everyday and it gets done. I imagine the lack of supply in stores is being done on purpose. Did not have those types of issues when the other guy was Prez. Woukd like to see the other guy return to office . The sooner the better for all.

We cleaned windows with peanut butter . Rub it in let sit a minute or two and scrape it off Your room looks awesome. You are an awesome worker . You will have your place done in no time. To remove the stickers from raw wood, use a razor blade and go with the grain of the wood. Use a warm damp clothes to remove the stickiness. I hope this works for you.
Label remover... I've used Un-Du label remover for years to remove shipping labels. Doesn't leave an oily residue unlike some others. Just let the fluid soak the entire label and use the scraper if necessary. Best that I've found. Enjoy the cooler temps this weekend, I think they're calling for low 40's in our area.

Hairdryer heats up the glue making it easier to peel off. Use a credit card to gently scrape the remaining glue off. Goo gone works also

Use a blow drier or heat gun to loosen up the adhesive, the peel/scrape off.

If you use removal product it will seep into wood if it’s unfinished. Try hairdryer or steamer.

Use a tension rod and put it in the top of the sheet for a curtain. That so the sheet can be use later if needed. Place tension rod in the doorway.

For removing stickers, I use a sanding belt eraser. Just keep rubbing until paper and glue are gone.

He said that that a/c is temporary, till he gets the mini split installed. He wants it blowing on him in the meantime when he is resting.

You could wash the stickers with fleecy fabric softener in hot water. That helps remove wallpaper and probably would work for stickers too.

It is looking fantastic. You are a very strong man. You live life with such grace and dignity. Wonderful traits in a gentleman. I know that is hard work cutting down all those trees and bushes in hot weather. I did some of my yard myself last week and had a good laugh at myself too. The branches I was dragging to my burn pile were bigger then me and kicking my butt. Wore me out big time. Got the tallest pine tree ever I need to take down as it's roots are cracking my driveway circle. Not looking forward to that task. Like you said though little bit everyday and it gets done. I imagine the lack of supply in stores is being done on purpose. Did not have those types of issues when the other guy was Prez. Woukd like to see the other guy return to office . The sooner the better for all.
Congrats on moving into the shed-to-house conversion. I'll be watching you cope with your environment. Keep it interesting with five-second time limits per view, then move on to the next screenshot. You are always interesting. With each episode, you continue improving. By the way, with all the mowing your doing, don't let your mower blades go - keep them sharp and balanced, or you'll soon be buying new bearings for the mower and don't forget to grease the idler pressure arm. Get a bottle of Goo Gone. Takes stickers off, test it on an old an board to make sure it doesn't discolor the wood. Keep the Faith, Baby!

Hi Jared. I understand wanting to get the bedroom to a point that you can have some comfortable and relaxing space. You really work hard too. My tiny house is14x30 and I also have a screened in porch and a large deck also.I have the same boads as you do. You will hopefully have it done by the time it gets cold. I always watch for your and Jason's videos. I enjoy them so much!!!

To remove the stickers from raw wood, use a razor blade and go with the grain of the wood. Use a warm damp clothes to remove the stickiness. I hope this works for you.

Label remover... I've used Un-Du label remover for years to remove shipping labels. Doesn't leave an oily residue unlike some others. Just let the fluid soak the entire label and use the scraper if necessary. Best that I've found. Enjoy the cooler temps this weekend, I think they're calling for low 40's in our area.

Hairdryer and gently scrape as you heat- it melts the glue and you can then rub off the rest of the residue with your fingers. Looking great!
Jared I’m always proud of you. You always persevere,it may take a few times but you get there and that’s all that matters. I’m extremely glad that you have a real bedroom now to relax and rest and sleep comfortably. As everyone has said just heat the stickers or use a damp not wet cloth that also works time consuming but worth it , seeing you guys surprise Tom and Rhonda was priceless ,thats hard work in the heat especially with a machete ,stay safe and keep on keeping on ✌💕🙏🏻
