This episode gets me every time, especially when The Machine remembers “the meaning of life”. An all time series finale and really under recognized. Enjoyed you all’s reactions!
I'm glad people are still discovering this show that never gets old. Thanks so much for your reactions, and interesting perspective. I really enjoyed it! I love imagining an alternate ending for John. A couple of Thornhill Security LLC helicopters come to his aid, shooting Samaritan operatives with miniguns, John gets a ladder, dropped for him after loading a copy of The Machine, and they get the hell out of there! 😀 My head is spinning at what a sequel to the series could be, given how much technology has advanced in the last eight years. You have some really cool shows lined up. The Expanse, Dark, and Westworld (which takes the ideas PoI in a more radical direction). I can't wait to see your next reactions!
I really hope more people can discover this masterpiece! Thank you so much for watching, we really appreciate it a lot :) Ah that would be amazing, I do love the actual ending but poor John deserved a better life, a peaceful life. I so wish that one day Jonathan Nolan decides to do a spiritual successor to this, I'd love more in this universe but I'm very happy with what we got! So many good things we've never watched, really excited for everything to come. Thanks again :)
It was a great journey. When I watched it myself, several times and of course with you 2, Tony and Claire. Only sad thing about Person of Interest is, that the show is so under the Radar. All the other reactors think oh no not another procedual crime show. They don`t know what they are missing. Person of Interest ment so much to me. Can`*t put that in words. My Chesapeake Bay Retriever is called Sameen. A male from her litter is called Finch. Person of Interest to me is one of the best TV Shows ever made. Together with Game of Thrones and House of the dragon. THANK YOU TONY&CLAIRE. You guys will have my subscription like forever for this and I´ll tune in again for a TV Show of Interest 🙂 Lots of Love from Germany
Thank you so much for joining us! Really appreciate it :) It is really sad, my hope is that one day it gets even more recognition from everyone. This show has so much going for it! Means a lot to me too. Aw that's an amazing name, I love it :) How cute. 100%, one of my all time favourites, it's why I couldn't resist watching it on here straight away. One day I'd love to watch Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. Thank you so much, means a lot to us!
I cry every time I watch it alone, and almost did even watching you both... but the Machine and Shaw will make a formidable new start. This show had such an impact on me, like another commenter. I have a tattoo about this episode. I think about characters, speeches, songs, themes or its music almost daily. I watched it on CBS... the old school way. And it still has its hooks in me 12 or so years later... Anyway, I have enjoyed the journey with you, maybe we get a spinoff someday. Thanks for being willing to really dive in and experience it.
Really appreciate that you stuck through the show! I love it and there's not enough coverage for it, and your enthusiasm/enjoyment for it mirrored my own Tony, there are those of us that enjoyed it more as a result despite the naysayers
People make a lot of cliche Terminator or The Matrix references when they bring up AI, but I've yet to meet anyone who's made a reference to this show, which is much smarter about it all.
I love this show so much! Had to pick it when we started the channel, couldn't resist :) Really hope more people do discover it as it deserves all the love. Thanks for watching :)
Gosh, I can't believe it's finished already! I feel like I need to start it all over agin to cope! as always, I'm super glad you guys stuck with this show and shared your reactions. Thanks for sharing the journey!
That last season was cut short. I think they could've done a bit of a better ending if they had a full cour like they wanted to. Shaw's return always feels a little rushed. Elias and Root dying back to back. They needed to die because they sinned too much off screen, but it was too quick to let the first death sink in I think. I also think they could've done more with Greer's character. Still, better that than a show that gets discontinued... But man what an amazing series. I remember I started watching cuz some guy on a plane was watching some episode next to me. It looked interesting, so I tried it too. And when I got back home, it was binge-watching time til I caught up to mid-season 4 back then. Thank you stranger
Just think of what kind of real last season we could have gotten if the network had stuck to the original deal and not started screwing the show over on whether there would even be a final season. It's still one of the best shows from broadcast TV.
I watched another CBS show that could be vaguely seen as a continuation of Person of Interest (if it was mixed with Touched by an Angel!). It was called God Friended Me (2018-2020). While it was first being shown week to week I was convinced at one point we'd find out The Machine was behind it all... sadly no.

The Song that you mentioned at the end is called " Metamorphosis 1 " by Phillip Glass
Yes! I've had it recommended to me a bunch of times, completely forgot the name for some reason. Such a great song
The end. What a great series. Great reactions. Thanks 🙂
Very sad but such an amazing ride! Thank you very much for watching :)
It's sad that we have reached the end o Person of Interest. But hearing that Barry is coming next is fantastic news. Looking forward to it.

I prefer the idea that Fusco keeps Bear🐕🦺
The spin off must be released now when we are getting AI in day to day life now
