Increase Triangular pressure bar slope, cut a screw female part, screw rod shall be upto the travel area. Rest part will be attached to the machine body through a bush. The pressure dial steering will not up or down, only pressure bar will travel as required.....also please enrich the drawing with horizontal length dial gauge for paper backward forward movement.
I saw your design. Very detailed. But bring it to your notice, the paper pressure clamp middle nut shall be a bush locked with circlip. The lower portion of the clamp is to be designed in such a way that it moves up and down, when pressure wheel 🛞 steers.

Why does the bent lever arm in this design and in the old sausage stuffer design provide mechanical advantage over a lever arm that is straight? Also, do we know how much more mechanical advantage a bent lever arm like this would be over a straight lever arm? Thanks!
I think the curved shape of the lever does not affect the mechanical advantage. The reason is to avoid collision of the lever with other parts, creating favorable conditions for the operator to rotate the lever.
Can you draw a machine project where we can manually sew Punch punching holes on the edges of the belt in the production of handmade leather product belts? This machine should also be able to cut along the strip where the belt is placed, in a way that curves the belt belts. I need this project. Ahh, does it not bind (from rotation) because the rack points to the center of the paper, so it stays balanced?
The blue lever must be large enough to hold the green slider in the upper position (when the lever is on the left)
