Back when I was 14 I had a paper out route and one of the houses I delivered the newspaper to had a 1970’s maverick for sale $500 w/ a swapped 351. I only had $380 and my dad didn’t want to cover the rest for me... what a missed opportunity that was, I was so upset for years. 😂LOL
Do not know much about these cars in the states but I will say they know how to make cars in America just love the ford V8 what a beautiful car the colour nice job
Gorgeous, especially love all the shaved and flush mounting work on this. Only thing I'd swap out is the factory looking sealed beams for black halo LED headlights.

The Ford Maverick would seem to be a great candidate for building on a budget they're not highly sought after I imagine when new they were grocery getters so a never wrecked straight body wouldn't be high dollar yet they do have style.

what I'm curious the most, is about how was the fabrication of the wind shield and the rear window. (made larger to be fixed with glue, instead of rubber hidden by a trim) --- o que eu estou mais curioso, é sobre como foi feita a fabricação do para-brisa e vidro traseiro. (feitos maiores para serem fixados com cola em vez de borracha escondida por frisos)
I'm a bit of a purist, and think a Coyote 5 litre would've suited the build better... But I get the LS is so popular, and it doesn't look out of place in the bay.

Not sure what color that is but Ford produced a similar color on Mavericks back in the 70's.
That's a far cry from my mom's 72 with a straight 6 that I remember.

Always thought the Maverick had great body lines, but the suspension and engine were junk. This one corrects those problems. Sweet ride!
Absolutely! The first car I drove was my sister's '77. This car puts that one to shame.
The suspension is the same on this car and NOW the engine is junk.
