  • Adventure Awaits as we explore 3 1923 steam locomotives originally from the Grand Trunk Western Railroad and sold in the 1960's as scrap to Northwestern Steel & Wire. Northwestern Steel & Wire scrapped their own engines and used these until the early 1980's and then sat on a siding until 2 were moved to neighboring towns and put on display. The last engine still sits on this cut off from any active railroad siding buried in the now overgrown woods.

Thank you Shawn (and Batrican). Such an awesome video. I have loved trains ever since I was 12 years old. We lived a "stones throw"! away from railroad tracks. My brother and I would stand on the bridge and watch the train run under us. Stay safe

Thank you Shawn. This is so awesome. I have loved trains since I was 12 and train tracks ran under a bridge in throwing distance of our yard.. We studied about the underground railroad and the orphan train in school.

Hey Shawn, stopping by to show some support, and check out your channel! We had a free train museum, not far from us, but the illustrious mayor, decided to shut it down. We love old trains! The history is so important. Thank you for sharing this. I have subbed. Looking forward to more content soon.

Wow, very cool video. Love the exploring and coming across something so big in nature. Nature is slowly taking it over, so cool. New sub here, I'll be exploring more!
