Magic shop was a song Jungkook produced for ARMY to comfort us when we are going through a hard time. It's actually based on a book called Into the Magic Shop: A neurosurgeon's quest to discover mysteries of the brain and secrets of the heart by Dr. James R. Doty. I actually read this book once I found out and learned that Magic Shop is a psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude, kind of like a meditative practice. For BTS to turn this into a comfort song is just amazing and the lyrics are so touching

Fundamentally, BTS shows a great amount of respect to their fans and to themselves. Their positivity isn't unrealistic, it's a gentle understanding that sometime life sucks and it's hard to like, be a human lol, but there are reasons to smile and love and keep going. I think it's special to have them share that actually, it's hard to accept and love yourself truly and they've struggled with it too, but as cliche as it sounds, it really is worthwhile to find self acceptance. If that means listening to BTS, then they're very willing to be that catalyst.
BTS do have lighthearted songs but at the same time many have wonderful lyrics that touch you and make you feel better. One of my favourites is 'Zero O'clock'. No matter how bad a day may be, no matter what has happened, a new day will come and we get another chance. Nobody is a lost cause, we can all reset.💜.
'Zero O'Clock' is my favourites too. There was a time when it was the last thing I listened to before going to sleep and first thing I listened to in the morning. I don't need it to bolster me so much now but will never forget how it helped to get me where I am now. You describe it perfectly.
Eventually ARMY will hear that one song that turns the corner from being a casual listener into a real fan. Jin's Epiphany was one of those songs for me and once I decided to open my mind and heart these boys have given me back so much. Even though we haven't met one on one (seen them twice in concert!) it doesn't make me feel like I'm just a number but rather I feel seen and understood. These young men are a once in a lifetime group who have helped bring far too many of us out of a dark place. Language shouldn't matter when you're speaking directly from the heart.

they really said "you gave me the best of me, so you give you the best of you." They're so aware of their fandom and the crazy love and passion we have for BTS. How love them fiercely and flaws and imperfections included. We showed them all the best sides of themselves whenever they were down or lacked confidence. They said that love? take that and love yourself that same way. AND THEN! not only did they tell us to do that, but made us promise. I'LL SHOW YOU I also just love how they never promise everything's just going to magically be okay and all get better. Instead they just offer their music and they're content as a safe space to come and just seek rest and refuge and maybe some company in that dark spot

This is one of their masterpieces.. the melody is so beautiful, the lyrics are very deep, meaningful for ARMY, can healing anyone that feeling bad. Jungkook involved much in writing and producing it. I think BTS (together with other song writer and producer) are really genius, I never heard bad song from them. And they have many masterpieces.
They did the Fifth Muster based on this and did a skit where Jimin was the owner of the Magic Shop and JK goes there when he feels down for some help. Jimin tries his best sending him into see the other members one by one who all have their own solutions but none of them work until they have a brainwave and give him the shoes he wore at the beginning of his career and he finds comfort in the memories they bring back. It's sweet, funny and touching.

Some of their Japanese songs are phenomenal, such as Film Out, and Your Eyes Tell. Film Out has a MV as well. I think both were written to be included in movies, by the youngest again, Jungkook. House of Cards Live, with English Subtitles, is one of my favorites of just the vocal line (Jungkook, Jin, Jimin and V). We won't get into solo work by all of them just yet. Next time maybe. lol
A stunningly beautiful song breaking the 4th wall with fans thanking them for giving BTs the best Army had and asking fans to give themselves as much love and care to themselves as they give BTS. I cry and smile through this and it’s my big comfort song. And this song is so comforting that many Army say it has pulled them from their darkest place and saved so many lives in a significant way. We warn all the rabbit hole is deep. I’ll go old school and recommend a political song “Am I Wrong” also no MV (their b-side songs are all hits) where they respond to apolitical who called the people in Korea pigs and dogs, it was a very politically risky song, it slaps, it’s funny, it’s not pop music. And they performed it live again didn’t just made it but really thumbed their nose at those in charge.
