I'm ordering a custom hood from mr s leather soon, right now i use a red and black hood from amazon. Gotta say, it's poor quality but for the price it makes do as a temporary or starter hood
Some of my favorite gear has been "cheap" stuff I got on ebay or Amazon. You are correct that the quality isnt there - but when you are on a budget and "need" some gear - it definitely works!! I really do appreciate the comment!!!
@@freakngear1141 You can definitely get good gear off of Amazon or wish, i have 2 harness, a bulldog harness from Amazon and an x harness from a professional website. I think the bulldog one is better quality. It's a mixed bag because they're all made by different manufacturers and companies on Amazon and wish so some products will be better than others but you'll never know. I'll always have a connection to my current hood as it quite literally saved my life, these hoods are great for getting into pup play initially and, if you're on a strict budget will definitely work long term
I have had mine for a few months now - and for the price...I don't think you could go wrong! You could buy 4 of these for the price of one from Mr. S Leather.....and with four...the hardest decision would be "what color to wear today" :) I do appreciate the comment!! Thank you!
I would strongly suggest new pups to try these out or the amazon/ebay hoods but they do not compare when it comes to quality. the Mr s color are more vibrant and the stitching holds together very well. I can already see the ears on the blue one come apart kind of separate not to mention they have two different styles and they can be customized. I will say that the Mr S are very expensive. they're is just no way those hoods cost that much to create but they are much better than the wish/ebay/amazon hoods in terms of durability color and options.
I’m looking at the StudioGum anatomical hood with nose tubes. Wish has one too. So torn is I should try the wish first since it’s much cheaper. I’m worried if I’ll like the hood because of the tubes.

I can tell you that I had a "funnel" hood at one point, and it had nose tubes....I kept giving myself bloody noses from trying to put the tubes in farther than they should have gone. I was told (later) that you can get surgical gel that helps the tubes slide in with more comfort - just be careful that the tubes are not so long that they hit the back of your throat!
Very true on the last comment! Slow and easy when inserting tubes into your nose if you plan on having them go in far enough that you can breath through them!! I heard the gel works well (and I think you can get it on amazon). :)
So my question is about the measurements....is it a brow measurement? Or chin to crown? Im worried i might have to small a head when i order and want it to fit properly
