Cant say Ive tried lithium batteries on my bikes so cant comment on performance. I have AGM Yuasa batteries on bikes with alarms and always use a trick charger, they have lasted around 10 years. For my old brit again AGM no name make with no trickle charger and its still going strong after 6 years. I also have AGM on the Ural with trickle charger , that got to be a least 8 years old and still going strong. I have lead acid on my other old brit which is two years old to me and was already on the bike when I had it. Again no issues. All are infrequent use.

Never heard anything great about lithium batteries. Only pro is low weight. Con’s are like a phone book
