Good job Dr. Eyal! I'm working on my Masters Degree Capstone project and looking to research FWD. Be assured that your work will appear in my citation. Thank you.
@@levenberg sir if our existing DBM and BC Thickness is 190 mm , but in calculation we taken 250mm then the results showing balance life less or more ?
@@sunilkothari8057 I still cannot understand the question. What is DBM? What is BC? What is 'Balance Life'? In general, the code solves a set of mathematical equations. The implications and meaning of the calculation results on reality are a matter of engineering judgment.

Thanks for your effort. Im currently working on my BSC research related to FWD.I will appear your work.

Thank you.
Thanks for the kind words. Happy to be of service.
Priceless
Thanks!
Thank you for the demonstration, very helpful

Thank you for the tutorial.
Welcome. Feel free to check out my new book: www.amazon.com/dp/8797231703
@@levenberg Thank you for the link.
Excellent work !!
Thank!
what if effect on results if we increase thickness of bc in calaclution
Sorry. I am not able to understand the question. In any case, the worksheet allows you to test sensitivities to changes in input values.

This will really help for all the relevant Engineers... is it possible to share the calculation procedure.
You have my blessing to forward-share this clip with relevant others...
How the stress, strain and displacement are calculated in the main sheet
The answer to your question is in the book...
Dear doctor, what considerations are taken in retrocalculation of mixed pavements?
Can you provide an example?
@@levenberg
tread layer: hot mix asphalt.
Concrete slab.
Granular base.
Subgrade.

@@levenberg Doctor, ELLEA1 by what methodology does it determine stresses and strains? Elastic Multilayer? or MET ODEMARK?
@@nilopolo3163 Multilayered elastic. Equations can be found here:

@levenberg Why was x set to 888
The choice of 888 is to emphasize it is a random selection. Any other number will work. There is no effect on the results.
@@levenberg Thank you, I appreciate how quickly you replied, great job!
is there is any way to download the ellea1 excel sheet? please and thank you
There are currently two options. One from my academia.edu website. The other from my DTU Orbit website.
