Suuuuuuperb recipe. Plz do not take off the video I always come back watch a video and next day house is smelling amazing 🤩. If you crave that sohan halwa we use to eat back home ….look no further give it a try. It’s time consuming but the quantity it yields is pretty generous. Usually halwas are a lot of work with a lot of shrinkage but not here.
Okay I just finished making this halwa. I would rate the recipe 10/10. My is smelling heavenly. Hubby would be so proud 🤩 Okay back to recipe at the beginning it looked like a big pool of oil and milk but as it evaporated it got better. I’ve seen so many complicated recipes with tons of ingredients and asking to add brown food colour but mine turned brown very perfectly. Only thing is it’s time consuming and would take you good two hours to make but the amount it yields is about 3cups full of halwa. So it depends how badly you want to make it. In the end thanks a lot for the person who uploaded it and also who’s recipe originally it is. Good bless you guys.
This recipe is the most authentic. The brown colour comes from baking or cooking, not from food colouring or cocoa powder. I have used brown sugar instead of normal white sugar. Hopefully it turns out the same
@@cookingtwistwithsr maybe i added too much nuts but after it was cooked it wasnt sticky. It probably just needs to cool down. Ive left in fridge and will try it tmmrw for iftar. Thank you🥰
Mine is sitting in the oven right now. And I used Nido which is full fat milk And it looks promising 🤩 so far. It looks like I’m half way done I’ll make sure to leave a comment once I’m done
This is amazing, I made it yesterday and got a full tray of halwa. You are an amazing cook! Thank you for this recipe.
Glad you enjoyed it

Yay!! Enjoy and please share video with friends and family 😊
One more thing I used Nido. Which is full fat milk and it turned out superb.
I’m gonna make it ASAP 😍😍🥰
Picture of finished product squares is not the product that was made and put into cup cakes ?
It is and it was made at the same time. Putting it in the cupcake wrapper made it easier to give out to everyone
Love it! Who was the person you mentioned who made the original recipe? Where can I find more of her info on her other Indian sweet recipes?
She doesn’t have a RUclips channel, i got it off Facebook
@@cookingtwistwithsr what’s her Facebook name?
RUbia shahid or zubia shahid

Would the recipe turn out well if I used full fat dry milk ?
That’s the only one I’ve got at home
No, The texture and the flavor is not the same

Can I use a pyrex to cook this?
Yes, you can use anything that’s oven safe; the cook-time might vary.
Hi, how are you? Every 8-10 minutes stirring, and 2 hours 10 minutes for 350 degrees Fahrenheit, right?
