      Each battery is probably around 70 watt hours of power if it's a 3000mah 6s but, it's probably only a 4s around 50 watt hours. Total power for all of them at 70 watt hours would be 70 kilowatts at $0.18 cents per kilowatt hour average in the U.S. so charging all of them would cost about $12.60 accounting for the efficiency of a decent charger being over 90%, less than $14 to charge all of them. If they use wireless charging like one reply mentioned it would be about 50% more or less depending how good their wireless charging is, I'd use contacts on the landing legs that just sit on a charging pad to avoid the wireless losses and having to use plugs and save weight of inductors for wireless. They earn like $10k+ per show I believe so cost of charging is nothing it's the hundreds of thousands of dollars and knowledge to build and operate the drones, insurance and other cost of operations/maintance that earns them money and with the open source software Skybrush any mildly technical person can run one of these shows.

      @1234567895182 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@harrisp584I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to think about than that. Like how do you make sure there is no signal interference? 1000 drones all in the same area each needing to receive different commands and able to distinguish from each other. Even at home, my Bluetooth headphones sometimes interfere with my wireless keyboard/mouse, and that's just two variables. Now imagine 1000 wireless devices.
      Also how do you program the patterns? I'm sure it's GPS. But you would need some pretty high accuracy GPS and then you need software where you build your patterns and the computer will figure out all the positions and whatnot to work. Each drone likely needs to be manually assigned exactly what position they are going to be in for all patterns. You also need to make sure the drones don't collide with each other at all times.
      There's probably more than that but that's just what I could think of.

    • @thatoneguywithahugethang
      @thatoneguywithahugethang 8 месяцев назад +1

      Sir, the past administrations have used drones WAY more capible than this.
      The reason we have consumer grade drones is because the American military started a revolution in drone technology beginning in the cold War era around the mid to late 60s. The technology was declassified as originating from area 51 and tied to the top secret projects known as AXILLA and AQUILINE.
      Due to the loss of U-2 spy planes a need for extremely small reconnaissance aircraft controlled at home that were capable of conducting limited flyovers and bombing sorties.
      Just like your cellphone, internet, and GPS capabilites, drone technology at this level and more are consumer grade because the military worked on the technology years before the general public even gained access.

      The synchronization is preloaded on them, so the only cues that are really being sent to the drones are "begin program". The drones do communicate with eachother on proximity, but that is probably done with radios on each drone communicating with the others around them. They only need to maintain a position relative to the drones around them, not necessarily the ground or their position in open space.

      He's not controlling anything he's just running a program on them and they fly themselves into patterns and such.
      The video is misleading honestly

    • @MRtwister88
      @MRtwister88 9 месяцев назад +6

      Because he was wearing POV goggles, and they had the view of one drones perspective.
      I’m assuming he did it for fun, because obviously there is no point.
      So he prob saw something but obviously he couldn’t see the screen to see what program/image was running!

    • @RandoManFPV
      @RandoManFPV 9 месяцев назад +5

      @@MRtwister88 no all those drones are programmed to fly in patterns. He's not controlling them manually.
      Look up "drone light show" or "drone display" you'll see why he's doing this

    • @MRtwister88
      @MRtwister88 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@RandoManFPV I know he’s not manually controlling, but the small video shows you the pilot POV and you can tell he can’t see the image because of his point of view, because the image is designed to be seen by the audience that have a whole different field of view. For some reason i initially thought the POV cam was a random drone, but it wasn’t it was just a camera on his baseball hat!!
