I’m 20 here in 2023 and I still wish they were making music. I was 12 when I was finding my own music taste rather than the middle schoolers who liked rap. I didn’t want to fit in with them. It wasn’t me. This genre made me feel unique and just better than the rest in a way.

It might no longer be the sound of Upon This Dawning but you can find the guy who did the chorus vocals on this track under the name Theo - but mostly he is making music with 2 other people (Plant, Fiks) under the name LA SAD. This whole song is great but the fifteen seconds from 0:42 - 0:57 was brilliant as well as the choruses. The use of violin incorporated with that grungy guitar grinding and down-tuned bass drops is just great in itself as well.

I could never find a song like this even after 6 years now.... I searched this band's music, its members' future projects, like The Tasters. This style of extreme vocals, with very cutting edge soft vocals, that scream yet they do it softly, with an extremely impactful set of riffs. I hope someday someone can mimic this style again, and its message, in future music. One thing's clear, somehow, this is one of my favourite songs I have ever heard.
Lorna Shore is the band to go with.

I saw these guys live on their tour with As Blood Runs Black. They were absolutely amazing and I would honestly go see them as the headlining act. They sound so good. I checked out their older stuff and it was pretty generic. Now they sound unique and full of diversity. They're my new favorites for a while.

Nowadays Theo (the guitarist) is doing pop punk/emo music with a new group, they called Theo x Plant x Fiks , and in my opinion they’re fire. (They sing in Italian)

This definitely isn't the same band from A New Beginning, which I only found because I like Motionless In White. And in my opinion this is A MILLION times better! The old band kinda sucked ass. The growls weren't real. He was just kinda... swallowing..? If I can use that term. But this! THIS! This is amazing! It sounds like and looks like Betraying The Martyrs, and thats a compliment.
