  • This is for youth coaches starting out with a new team or wanting to make changes to their current team. I've laid out the basic principles to set the tone for a positive, productive, and respectful environment for any team in any sport. It just so happens that two of the principles come straight from The Karate Kid, 'coach says, student does,' and 'look eye.' Hey, whatever works!

    This is very helpful I started a brand new Water Polo program at the school I work at and I have so done a player contract of how I want them to act during games, during practice, and at school. So far that has gone well for me.

      That’s smart to do. I would also do a contract with the parents so they behave as well. Glad you watched and good luck!
