3:04 - Another commercial for them has a boy hiding a monster and having to bite his Trolli worms' heads off to stop their ominous singing.
3:45 - Did they straight-up steal from Son of the Mask, of all things?
4:40 - Somewhat creepy tone, not very tactful shout-out, kind of condescending message execution.
5:33 - Not even cursed, just raunchy comedy.
6:27 - A bit weird with the "princess kissing and stroking your finger" premise, but yeah the punchline is pretty good.
7:31 - The hair-faces are pretty cursed, but somehow more shocking is the clear sexual innuendo at the end.
8:05 - Far from the first 'defecating toy/game' I've seen. The implied force-feeding and urine-colored poo are worth noting, though.
8:52 - Meme.
9:03 - Okay, now THAT's stinkin' wierd, albeit with a couple funny moments. I agree with the rating.
10:05 - If the previous ad gets a 10, this one gets an 11 for me. Freaky.
10:38 - Oh, I remember this one, too! Yeah, that's some invasive imagery right there. Marketing tactics, am I right?
11:57 - Plays like a Law & Order cold open.
12:56 - Yeah, not really cursed at all, just a silly, bad commercial. It's hard to make out what they are talking about through the muddled voices, though.
14:04 - Yo, yo, yo! This psa is overdrawn and squeaky clean! It's so hip, it doesn't need to get to its subject right away; gotta build up to it with other common sense statements, bro!

Those stars are from the Incredible Crew (as well as Adventure Time for Jeremy, who voiced Finn), and it didn’t even last more than a season. Got cancelled, no surprise there
It’s unfortunate tbh. I really admire the CN Real era. Othersiders is laughable but I’ve been buying the shows from the Australian iTunes Store before they’re taken down. I missed out on grabbing BrainRush, and now it’s really become lost media.
@@pr9334 With iTunes you're only purchasing a license that says you can watch the video, so long as iTunes continues to keep it in their storage base.
Unless you have 'other means' of keeping said media, you're not guaranteed to be able to keep that media.

That dancing baby was totally stollen from “Son of the Mask”! I jus HAD to look it up, they copy even down to the camera angles used!!! The only part that’s really different is that this baby snapped his fingers near the end, SotM did a weird finger wiggle. Crazy

For some context on the Stop Bullying Speak Up ad: Around that time there was a show called Incredible Crew, starring the voice of Finn from Adventure Time (Jeremy Shada) and Shauna Case. In the show there are 5 main characters. This was just a random thing put together with the idea of Incredible Crew in mind to advertise to kids who watched the show and the overall network.
Also Incredible Crew, while a little cringe at points, is pretty good. It’s like So Random but CN.

I remember nearly a decade ago when this ad aired on TV at my grandparent's house, while my parents were in the room. I remember they were mad at me for it (even though I had no control on what adverts get aired), and it made me hate this commercial ever since. Absolutely ridiculous.

The teachers do absolutely nothing, and in some case will punish you for standing up for yourself. And what if the teacher is bullying you? That happened to my sister, and when it was brought up to the principal and the school board, they blamed my parents for “teaching her lies”
Especially if you are being bullied for being LGBT, POC, or foreign. Teachers will often join in and act like it is your fault for being those things.
@@Jeetaruey don’t forget being disabled or neurodivergent, the programs for “special needs” programs at public schools are literal torture and I speak from experience. I was forced into them since I was five and wasn’t taken out of them until I was 15 (I’m 16 now)

Schools need way better inclusion instead of essentially segregating the students who struggle more with blending in with NT kids and additionally making light of ND kids that are better at blending in. My needs were never taken seriously because I was an honor student, so clearly I couldn't have any sensory, coping, or stress issues or struggle with subtext of people because I was capable of parroting back the work material handed to us. Heavy sarcasm implied.
Yeah. Middle school was the worst for me since I got bullied alot but teachers never batted an eye. And then when I defended myself, I would get in trouble while the ones who started it would get a slap on the wrist. I also got kicked in between my leg, had pencils throwed at me. But no one did anything until I stood up for myself. Then I got detention.
@@lunanote-cassettemeower I still remember when I was in school and fellow students would make fun of anyone who was in special education classes by calling them "Speds" like it was an insult. I ended up being added to the program in case I ever needed the extra help when I got to middle school, but by freshman year they decided "you don't actually need the help" and stopped offering it to me. This was like 15-20 years ago so I can't really tell how different it is today.
It didn't help that I had no idea what was actually wrong with me mentally during school, so never really took advantage of any special assistance like that. Once I became more aware about mental disorders after graduation I looked back at my school life and wished I'd known about it sooner because it would've made a world of difference. No one ever noticed my struggles with socializing and tried to help.
The Lamisil ad pretty badly describes that 10-12 months thing. You will not lose your nails but the nail takes 10-12 moths to fully regrow so that the effects of the infection is not visible on it anymore. 😅

The two people in the stop bullying ad were from a live action sketch show from that time called “Incredible Crew”, which thankfully isn’t on anymore. But the guy is actually Jeremy Shada, who was not only on Incredible Crew but is also the voice of Finn from Adventure Time.

I remember seeing the, "It's what you do!" Commercial when I was very young on Cartoon Network and I got a kick out of it. Also, the guy is the voice of Finn the Human in Adventure time, and I saw him and got his autograph once! He was a very kind person, as well!

And I thought that single ad was almost as bad as Teen Titans go. But now, knowing there was an entire series of that, I don't know which one is worse.
From the incredibly cursed "CN real" phase cartoon Network went through for about a year or two at most back in I'm going to say 2008 or something like that.
CN Real was an experiment that horridly failed. Cartoon Network needed to stay in its fuckin lane. Who thought Andrew WK was a good idea for a show host of kids content anyways?
Does anybody remember “You see what I’m Sayin?” It was a series of anti bulling videos that barely got their point across. I specifically remember one about this guy brushing his teeth with soap and washing his hands with toothpaste. I tried looking it up but I don’t see anything for it. It’s not “you CN what I’m saying” because that was promotional. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a part of incredible crew. I remember seeing it in 2015 I believe.

That was during a long stretch where I didn't really have cartoon Network or cable in any capacity. And when I saw what had become of them I was so angry and appalled at what they had done. And to cancel a bunch of shows too, it was just a mess. I don't feel like they ever truly came back from that.
