J Lo was so sweet and sensitive in saying goodbye to chris. Steven and Randy were great too. Makes me appreciate all three of these judges as decent and good people.

She had to tell him that his dream wasn't going to come through and to top it off. Jennifer knew that AI was Chris's best shot at a career and she had to end his journey. Heartbreaking for all. Don't hate on Jennifer b/c she clearly didn't want to do it.

There is so much good in this world but this stands out as one of the worst moments and injustices ever. Besides the personal story, Chris was and is an incredible singer. To this day, I cannot fathom why AI did this. It's the worst mark on a show that was such a positive part in history. I honestly never felt the same about the show staff, creators, directors, producers & judges after this

Top reason why I stopped watching American Idol! I truly believe this show is fixed, a sham & rigged. The contestants go through torture before making it into the audition room. I watched many blogs made my former contestants who were invited on to this show & never got the chance to ever audition! Chris's voice in audition was excellent. How could they say "NO" to him? This show has gotten ridiculous!
It's TV. If he didn't get cut early on, there'd be no competition anymore cause he will surely win because he captured the heart of many already at that very early stage.
Just saying the songs choice has a lot to do with Chris elimination. He has such a good voice and stage presence ...should have sang "What are words or John Legend "all of me" where his falsettos will shine!
