There are 3 people who I think are lacking on this list, in no order: 1)Biao Yuen, 2) Don "the Dragon" Wilson and 3) Albert Leong. Biao just has the credititals period. Don has not only the incredible irl martial arts credentials but also a huge filmography and Albert Leong is 1 of the most recognizable martial arts bad guys of all time and who was used in several big budget movies. We have to love the actors who play bad guys too.

For sure. Yuen Biao is absolutely amazing. He just never got good movies as the protagonist or his role was minimized because Jackie Chan was the star. He could do crazy jumps, high kicks, triple kicks, easy kickups, and anything other martial artist movie stars could do.

Back in the early 70s, me and my friends went to a little small town theatre every weekend, they played a lot of Kung Fu movies, we had never seen anything like them, arms being chopped off, bloody as hell, we loved every minute of it, some of my best memories watching those movies, it was really wild stuff.

They forgot Hiroyuki Sanada (Ujio, in The Last Samurai). He starred in several Japanese action movies and is a very accomplished martial artist. He has also appeared in a few American movie roles.

@@JasonLee-hg9xi While not a life long martial artist like some of the guys and gals on this list Denzel trained with Dan Inosanto for a few months in the art of Kali to prepare for his role in the Book of Eli several years ago and I think Danny Trejo did some boxing in prison. They should have had a separate list for action stars that have limited Marital Arts training instead lumping them in with actions stars who are expert fighters.

I think you could've lost about ten of the Hollywood names who I can't recall ever did any Martial Arts fights like Denzel Washington, Lorenzo Lamas, and Antonio Banderas. Switch those guys out for Sho Kosugi, Steve James, Jeff Speakman and Tadashi Yamashita

Wow no mention of Phillip or Simon Rhee. Tommy Lee and Dai-Han from Best Of The Best? They are both real masters in taekwando and hapkido, as well as wing chun. Phillip is a 6th degree black belt and 3rd degree in hapkido and Simon is a 7th degree 4th degree in hapkido.
