songs like this are the reason pop/punk, emo, rock, and metal bands have such loyal fanbases. many of them sing about real and deep issues that help us get out our feelings and frustrations. and yeah, there are a lot of serious lyrics under the happy sounding music. it’s 100% ok to rock out to them. we all do 💜
this is facts
The passion artists put into their work pulls us towards it and the message helps us connect on a somewhat personal level. Music is the most beautiful influencer.
very well said sir.
Agreed 💯 and preach it
while rappers rap about how awesome it is to be rapping rappers, rock still writes meaningful lyrics. songs that help the audience move through feelings and emotions they otherwise couldn't deal with in a healthy way.
That entire album “Don’t you Fake it” was straight fire. Every song
Agreed… whenever justify comes on im gonna rock all the way out no matter the situation lol
@@phillipbagley1226 grim goodbye and justified was always my jam! Both have such deep lyrics!
Agree 100%
I swear that album has no bad songs. Not many bands can say they’ve done that.
Facts every song is so good. Not many albums I can play through and enjoy EVERY song. 🔥🔥🔥
Ronnie and his brother grew up witnessing his father beating his mother. They were eventually adopted by their grandmother. Ronnie has been open with his experience… and this song is a reflection of this.
Idk why but I love when people who never heard or even gave this type of music a chance end up actually liking it when they open their mind up a little
I know these guys… worked with Ronnie’s grandmother for years. He is such a legit guy. Wish these guys continued to stay in the mainstream to continue to get more recognition.
Same, I went to school with Erik Winter, The winters younger brother.
Loved this
You guys gotta do Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects and Good Charlotte. Such throwbacks
Waiting on that swing swing reaction
Yes!! 😅
good Charlotte yessss
Yessss specially all american rejects 💙
Considering my father did this kind of shit to my mother, this song always hits hard. Not only is it a great tune to get you moving, it’s a great tune to get you thinking.
Your Guardian Angel by them is another good one! such nostalgia 🙌 wish I could go back and relive the days
False pretense
I know these guys. They're from my hometown. I used to play in a band that would open for them at all their hometown shows, and we recorded our first cd in the same studio where they recorded their ep got got them signed. Ronnie, their lead singer even did guest vocals on one of our songs just because he happened to be in the studio while we were recording. They're all really cool guys.
What’s their home town?
@@904nole Jacksonville/Middleburg Florida
Dayum….this one brings back high school memories y’all. If I needed to get mad before a game and wanted to get my blood pumping, this was the song. 9/10 it would be any other genre besides this one…but if it was game day, this was the track
The album version has an intense scream-o solo at the end that was deemed too harsh for the music video
that solo was the part that made this song for me lol, along with it just being relatable asf
This and Never Again by Nickelback, two great songs about abuse and getting away from it (in different ways granted), that are very intense. Hope they check out Never Again as well. But yeah. Very good song
@@CrazeeAdam Hush by HellYeah is a good one to, it's definitely darker but it carries a lot of emotion in it.
I remember this from MX vs ATV Untamed
You need to do the new symphonic addition of Face Down video. It has the same actress as this video just 16 years later. It shows how PTSD can effect you for a long time.
Just commenting here to support this comment, hopefully they react to it
Y’know, for a time when I was in highschool, up until ‘08, liking many of these bands was made fun of or barely spoken about. And as time passed, there were just fewer reasons to listen to some of them. Hella good to see you all listen to so many songs that bring me way back so many years.
I’m gonna keep looking through your videos in search of some with Weezer, Sublime or the Offspring. The bands I grew up with and remember from 1995.
Oh yes 👍 and Toad the Wet Sprocket, Live, The Toadies, Seven Mary Three; so many ...
The guy in the back knows all the good songs! 🔥
Bro with the dreads knows this shit so much I love it
There's an old version of this song that's on a heavier side alot of screaming. It's a different vibe. Gives me chills
It’s the real version of the song
Is that the one used in saints row 2?
You guys are breaking barriers and I’m all here for it!! 🎉💛
Another reaction you guys should do…”Welcome to the Black Parade”, “Teenagers”, and “Famous Last Words” by My Chemical Romance. Interesting fact: the lead singer for MCR, Gerard Way, also created the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy. Good stuff.
As a die hard hip hop fanatic. I love this song with all my heart and soul. ❤️ This song got me through my childhood. Reminds me of when my mom was still alive... Listen to the lyrics.
You guys should definitely check out the band The Wonder Years. They are a band from Philly that always has the best shows & crowd.
Banger🔥🔥 Do Always Sunny in Philadelhia Charlie Kelly highlights please
Funniest show ever
Day 8 asking
That’s a bad ass song.. One that’s definitely on my playlist and I love that you guys review all sorts of music!!
Haven’t heard this in forever!! Thank you
Keep reacting to the punk/pop-punk/metal stuff guys! I love watching you react to songs you've never heard that i've been listening to for years on years
Face down always goes down as a classic ♨️ love the reactions and keeping it real
Love that you already know this song! Diverse taste man!!! It’s a classic now. Fire!
This whole album is 🔥🔥🔥.. One of my alltime favorites
Prince "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" Live w/ tom petty
Prince steals the show and makes his guitar fly at the end lol
This whole album is great! ❤
Insane timing! RJA JUST released a remake of this song a few days ago; it GOES EVEN HARDER and really highlights the PTSD associated with domestic violence. Would love to see a reaction to that one!
Yo Brandon is MY GUY!! I still rock to this song every time it comes and seeing how y'all react to this is amazing...especially when yall see the message. Keep up the great content! Much love!
I got addicted to this song back as a game tester. The game I was testing had a soundtrack, and I'd just play this on repeat while testing the tracks.
Was this game MX vs. ATV Untamed by any chance?
@@ynz9214 yes, in fact.
@@neolithiumproduction really good game ngl. I'm doing the same, I only play Face Down and Shapeshifter in Untamed 😉
This was on saints row 2
@@malachimatthews1881Yeah I heard it in a saint row game !
This the song that made me loving this kind of music I swear❣️
Damn I really wish you were listening to Guardian Angel by them
False pretense
Wow I just found your channel like 20 mins ago and can't believe you're racing to this! Already subscribed.
So I not only went to school with some of the members of this band, but their producer, Paul Lapinski also use to produce my music in the same studio this was recorded. I first recorded with him 20+years ago at his house(studio) and now he has a platinum record. The bass guitarist Joey, is two of my childhood friends little brother. Known him since he was little. They really did so good from this song, they all still tour making a living for themselves.
Showing love from Texas y'all!! This channel hits hard my son and me jam
This 🙌🏻👏🏻
From Eminem to this. You’re the real deal guys. Watched most your Eminem reactions and swear you guys are 💯 always. All genuine. big respect to your channel love from the 🇬🇧
Omg I used to listen to this in high school and I was in a toxic relationship. Never seen the video! Loved your reaction ❤️
another song from this era that kinda hits the emotional side of life is "The Tide" by Spill Canvas. glad you guys are enjoying these songs from another time.
RJA is from my city & my nephew were friends with them. I let them borrow the Escalade for New Year's Eve one year. Good guys!❤️🔥
Y’all should check out the symphonic version of this song. They bring back the same girl from the original video. It’s f’n deep.
Omg I love this song thanks to whoever requested it
Bruhhh, y’all are bring me back to my emo days with this. You gotta do The Devil Wears Prada- Still Fly cover
I really like this song! Hopefully you can react to Fall Out Boy in the future.
Day 42: Of asking for Eminem ft. Royce Da 5’9 - All I think about
I've been asking for them to react to Eminem in the Rap Olympics (1997) for a little while now lol. I even sent it to them on Twitter but they haven't even read it 😂😂
well ya you’re a bad guy, shooter
@@skyt3265 Stay out of my way, or else you'll pay! Listen to what l say.
@@ShotCallaMcGavin I’ll be at the Red Lobster if ya need me!!
@@ShotCallaMcGavin I've been asking for 4321 by LL Cool J
One of the best! if not, the best Emo band of it's era.
yall should catch one of their live shows!! so amazing good!! Ive listened to them for years they still going strong!! check out disciple the wait is over!! if i were rich i would follow all these guys!!
Mayday Parade, Sleeping With Sirens, Rise Against, All Time Low, Pierce The Veil, My Chemical Romance, Simple Plan. Just to name a few worth reacting to.
Love you guys, you’re awesome
Yall got me pumped hearing these old bangers! Keep up the great work! Let's shoot for 10 videos a day! Lol jk 🤙
So, my ex husband tried to kill and s!it my throat. I have severe ptsd, depression and anxiety. One the the things that helps me get out of my episodes is actually this song. Turning it on and screaming it. Since I’m newly off my blood thinners I’m just waiting for all clear and there’s a set of song lyrics I’m getting tattooed since it’s helped me so much. This song is great. And it’s definitely one thing I don’t hear in the rap world is domestic violence awareness. It’s nice that the rock community and country community are doing it.
Spose - Gesundheit. Look that song up.
Do a reaction to "Devil went Down to Georgia" Charlie Daniels
I still listen to the entire album this song came from.
You guys gotta get to those ones you were saying were BANGERS. Those are all awesome.
I wish you would hear falling in reverse's song voices in my head. The song and music video is epic. Straight 🔥!!
They re mastered this song and brought back the OG Woman in the video y’all should take a look
Has no business being that hard with such a deep message.
I love yall reaction!! It as soo true and real!! And I know yall felt this song.. the lyrics!!! Man RJA is my favorite band ever!!
That song that u played with sleeping with the sirens is really good!
Takes me back to my early 20s lol. I could probably give yall likewise a thousand songs no cap ... check out another 1 hit wonder Adema - Giving In
favorite song fav album its so good omg
Dude I love this song so much💖. Also still waiting on some Falling in Reverse reactions 👀
Clicked this quick 👌🏼
Listen to Shinedown Everything they put out Is a banger!
they actually just released this same song, 15 years later with, I think, the same woman and the video is kind of a continuation. Its super good.
Good timing. October is domestic violence awareness month.
Wow I just discovered this myself I'm feeling the rock out moments
You guys have to do Pierce The Veil- King For A Day. I think you'll love it!
yes!! i recommended this one a while ago i think they would really dig it
Hell yea
Make sure to listen to False Pretense by them as well!
They released a symphonic version of this song recently, you should take a listen
the drug in me is you-falling in reverse
Now you have to listen to the acoustic version ❤
Love the reaction video!!
Next, can we have some Good Charlotte, please? I LOVED them. I'd suggest you start with Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, or The Anthem. 🖤
Love this song! GLad to see you react to it.
Wow what a classic I haven’t heard in years, love seeing y’all feel it 👍🏻
You guys HAVE to check out A Day To Remember. Awesome band!
Love this song being a n Emo goth skater punk metalhead outcast in high school in the early 2000’s especially this song because of my sister who had many abusive relationships
If you liked this one maybe you also like Rise Against - Prayer of the Refugee. Great reaction as always! 😀
Oh I remember this song! I completely forgot about it until now lol
People call this kind of lyrical content deep. I"m grateful for it because these kinds of songs are guides out of a place of isolation. Fear. Abandonment. So songs like this, to me, aren't deep, so much as its just reality. xo I really appreciated your response. xo
A Day to Remember “Since Youve Been Gone”. Such a good song, Kelly Clarkson remade it 😂
These kinda bands you don’t see anymore. These are classics.
Hawthorne Heights - Pens & Needles
My Chemical Romance - Helena
My Chemical Romance - The Ghost Of You
PLEASE react to Alice in Chains - live at the moore - Love, hate, love !!! Layne's voice is insane
One Republic is one of the best bands ever. I've seen them in concert. Their lead singer, Ryan Tedder, went to the same school as my cousin and friend in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Highly recommend you react to "Apologize" by One Republic, featuring Timbaland.
Hell no
You definitely should listen to Hoobastank - Crawling in the Dark, Jimmy Eat World - The Middle
You guys should react to Korn if you haven’t heard them I recommend there live performance of blind from Woodstock 99 shit gos insane.
this song makes me worried when i get to work while biking
I think you guys really need to watch Ok Go's Here we go again video .
Love this! You guys should react to a new emo/punk band called Magnolia Park. Their lead singer is black and kills it on the mic! Super sick new band thats up and coming!
You guys should definitely check out “Sugar We’re Goin Down” by “Fall Out Boy” or “Grand Theft Autumn” by “ Fall Out Boy”!!! Both are good Fall related rock songs!! 🍂🤘🏼🖤
Song is legit banger rock num1
Hopsin - Your House (kinda goes with the vibe of this song)
Banger
It took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize the guy in the very back is a poster🤣
Another good song with some of the same meanings of this one is "Never Again" by Nickelback! I'd heavily recommend trying that song out! It goes a bit harder with the instrumentals than this song and heavier, but with the subject matter being talked about.. should be heavy
Love how he looked up the definition apparatus 😂
Great song and reaction guys!! Please check out the band Skid Row and their songs “ I Remember You” official video and “ Wasted Time “ official video. Both are bangers and Sebastian Bach’s vocals are insane!!
Honestly I've gone through that...physically and mentally and emotionally abusive relationship... He would throw things around and throw things at me and hit me.... To me the visuals represent that's even though she's alone the effects of dealing with the chaos and the memories still linger. So even if I'm alone ... Internally I'm still dealing with it. It's been four years since my ex and I broke up but I'm still going to therapy due to the PTSD from it all. Still having nightmares, flashbacks, I jump at noises of things falling and breaking randomly ... 🤷♀️ It is what it is. Anyways awesome reaction y'all ☺️
These guys are also a Christian band. They have a ton of awesome songs!
MakeDamnSure - Taking Back Sunday
