Hey Myra, you are so generous, giving everything you know could help anyone wanting to learn and improve their english accent or should I say american accent. That was really something you taught in this video. When you were talking I was trying to mimic you though I'm a guy I still think it's fine. The difference though is a masculine voice coming out 😁. It was encouraging to hear that you don't discriminate other accents nor elevate american accent but giving value to differences which shows your humility. Be blessed.
I prefer to learn an British accent rather than American accent but we think British accent is more easy than American but it’s really difficult to understand and pronouns. Me and my husband have an British friend but its really difficult to listen their pronunciations but that’s really a proper english we must listen and learn.
Hello Ms. Myra from the first time I watch your vlog I became your follower because gsto ko yung way ng pagtturo mo. I am not good in English and your vlog helps me to improve my knowledge. Goodluck and more power..😘🙏
I would suggest to check the accent reduction for American accent. Including the true T, construction and etc. It will help you to sound like a native speaker 😉👍

Im very happy to watch your video po ma'am..i have a lot of vocabulary i learned..thank you for sharing your knowledge about how to pronounce a proper pronunciation..♥️♥️♥️
Madaling makinig at gumaya ng accent. Ang problema, if you don’t have a “good ear”, in other words hindi mo talaga naririnig yung mga nuances ng accent kaya mahirap talaga gumaya. Meron ding talagang pilipit ang dila but it doesn’t hurt to try. I can still tell you’re Pinay when I listen to you speak English pero slight na lang yung accent mo and actually pretty good for someone who hasn’t lived in the states. Ako, meron pa ring very slight accent (lalo na pag galit ako - nag bibisaya’t tagalog ang utak ko somehow) even though I’ve lived all over the states since ‘73. I speak IN English” dahil awkward pakinggan. English speaking people don’t say it that way. Tanggalin mo yung “in” and just say “when I speak English”. Make sure i-emphasize mo na merong soft C (ceiling) and hard C (cat) sound and that hard C sounds like the sound of K as well. Please remember sa English, dalawa ang sound ng each vowel (short and long sound), di gaya sa atin na isa lang. Make the dictionary your friend for that. Good luck!
Bakit naging awkward pakinggan ang "I speak in English"? And those "English speaking people" you are refering to are more than likely, abjectly, illiterate with their own language🤣🤣🤣 There are many of them here in America.🤣🤣🤣 Don't think very highly of them like I used to until I learned they are as dumb as the rest of the world is🤣🤣🤣
I-share ko lng ung experience ko sa British Educators who work in Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) as a Consultant /inspectors for schools. When they conducted the inspections for Phil. Curriculum in our school, they were confused because some of the teachers are speaking british accent and others are american accent.. They asked anu daw ba tlg ang ginagamit natin sa Pinas? Since, our curriculum is pattern to american curriculum, at the same time naging colony din tayo ng mga Americano kaya DAPAT American accent lng ang ating i-embrace. Kaya american accent lng ang dapat ituro sa mga Filipino learners , khit hindi language teacher, not allowed to use UK accent in school except for british people, para hindi din maconfuse ang mga learners natin... At tama din nmn tlg na gumamit lng tayo ng isang accent as our identity. Kaya no choice tayo khit gusto natin mag british accent. The same goes when you are teaching to Foreign Learners dapat alamin nyo kung UK or US ba ang nakasakop sa bansa nila or kung anung acceptable sa bansa nila para iyun ang accent na gagamitin nyo sa kanila. I would suggest to share this info to your blog to inform the difference of the 2.

Be blessed.
Thank you so much for your comment, Ezer! 😊

I prefer to learn an British accent rather than American accent but we think British accent is more easy than American but it’s really difficult to understand and pronouns. Me and my husband have an British friend but its really difficult to listen their pronunciations but that’s really a proper english we must listen and learn.
Enjoying your videos
I am happy to be your learners too!😊

I would suggest to check the accent reduction for American accent. Including the true T, construction and etc. It will help you to sound like a native speaker 😉👍
Thanks for your suggestion, Genileo! ❤️

Im very happy to watch your video po ma'am..i have a lot of vocabulary i learned..thank you for sharing your knowledge about how to pronounce a proper pronunciation..♥️♥️♥️
fantastic! i love the way you teach in English.
You still have a strong filipino accent but it doesn't matter as long as you have the right grammar not a big deal watching from California
Anyway, don’t say, “when I speak IN English” dahil awkward pakinggan.
Good luck!
Hi, Ma'am Lorna! Thank you so much for your tips!! Stay safe! ❤️
Bakit naging awkward pakinggan ang "I speak in English"? And those "English speaking people" you are refering to are more than likely, abjectly, illiterate with their own language🤣🤣🤣 There are many of them here in America.🤣🤣🤣 Don't think very highly of them like I used to until I learned they are as dumb as the rest of the world is🤣🤣🤣
And no, I don't hear "moddo" when I listen to a Gringo saying "motto". You need to consult with an Ear Specialist🤣
Mmm
Okie nuhmn nnmnaxss
S
S mm mo
It actually depends on US geographic, some sounds hard moddo, others slight touch on “t”.
You are my new role model Ma'am 😍😍😍
