Japan has a failing economic system while the Philippines and India are begining to have growing ones. Their economies aren't rapidly growing because of their population (since if that was the case their gdp per capita would be stagnate), instead they are growing rapidly due to economic policies, innovation, and in some part because of its market size. It would be valid to argue that Japans gdp per capita is still above theirs but in terms of GDP blaming several countries' GDP solely on the population is in no way valid
@@indrabayu8139 Until today, there is still a gap between the living standards of the Chinese and the Japanese, and most Chinese also understand and admit it. However, India’s per capita GDP is even only one-fifth of China’s, but Indians even don’t know how to be humble and always think they’re already very powerful. Not joking that my huskies spend more than Indians.

Why India's Nominal GDP is too low compared to it's population right now?Answer is1) India started it's new policies like liberisation privatisation etc from 1991 before after that policies only India was growing little more better than before.
2)India also have largest unofficial corruption in the world .most of the politicians in India have millions and billions of dollar's so many politicians are ruling India because they need money only some are good example Abdul kalam,atal bihari vajpee etc
3)indecisive unstable governance being an democratic country Indian government takes alot of time to take a decision so the development will slow down. For example in China if ccp decided to smart city within time limit they will do it because there are no conflict in thier decision they are single party but in India there many parties if a decisoon is made to improve things including infrastructure opposition will oppose thus it Hinder's growth.
4)Cost of living in India cost of living is lowest compared to all major economies in the world.You can literally live a day by eating food which are under 1US$ but in other major countires price would be equal to 5$-50$.Nominal GDP does not consider cost of living and inflation India's nominal gdp will be highly unvalued.So gdp PPP is real measure.
5)workforce- India contains 1.3 billion people but among the total workforce more than 7% are already unemployed.Also India contains one of the highest youth population in the world more than 35% are youth in India so they cannot contribute to country thus they will not receive enough income so GDP per capita will come down but those whl are doing economic contributions their per capita will be far greater since they are the main one who receives total per capita from 11 trillion dollar India's GDP in ppp term so in reality India does have gdp per capita ppp close to 14000Us$PPP.After 2030,35 India will get alot of its youth's to thier early 30's so they will participate in the workforce and boost India's economy considerably.Also India have largest informal workforce in the world so it won't considered in gdp so we can get a basis of understanding that India does have gdp per capita close to 15000$ atleast since informal section isn't considered .India is in the way to bring largest pool people from informal to formal sector.if that happens in rapid pace. i am sure that no one can stop India own it's way growth will be tremondous..
That's why due to all this criteria imf(international monitory fund) predicts India to be largest economy in Gdp ppp by 2050 and 2nd largest economy in GDP nominal just below china also by 2050.
Note-India is already 3rd largest in gdp ppp currenlty with 12 trillion so it is understandable.

Yeah, everyone can feel the hostility from the US capitals back then at Japan and Germany but the direct cause of the avalanche is far more than that. The Japanese government together with the major capitals at that time were too adventurous that they expect to expand the business and profit even more while complying to and make use of the accord, and it did so poorly at making currency policies to mitigate the crisis when the collapse started. I was told that is why Germany doesn't suffers as much from the American suppression. Reason for China's rise is its central govt. which makes it easier to plan and execute the projects of national level. Also China invested in heavy infrastructure before opening it's economy in 1984. As a result, China's cost of production reduced drastically. Companies moved to China due to cheap production and manpower. It resulted into further development.
In democracy the development is bound to be slower due to lack of political consensus on developmental models. But still higher demographic dividend, the share of working age population, always result into higher GDP growth. That is the case with India, which is seeing GDP growth of 7-8% due to high number of working age population.
China will continue to grow but the rate of growth will slowdown due to decreasing workforce and increasing maiden age of population, which is 37 years now (India's is 26 years). Now Chinese govt has realised that and have started new population policy to allow three children in family.
Therefore, in future we may see similar growth like China from countries like India, Nigeria or Indonesia due to large population base.
Also remember, in long term every country will eventually reflect GDP proportional to its population. That's why many studies suggest that China (1st), India (2nd ) and USA (3rd) will be the largest economies in future, because these three countries have highest population in world.

But that's not the case anymore so gdp ppp of Japan is 5.7 trillion as of 2019 but idk about 2020 because of covid pandemic.
