If you blitz with a pestigor, he gets +1 STR, so you can activate blitz and attack the guy in your tackle zone for an extra die. Its the Horns ability.
Keep in mind that you technically don't need to buy a new player, as you previously got a 12th player from the opposing team, after your beast killed the enemy. If you do want to upgrade the squad though, I highly recommend a second Pestigor, if for nothing else but redundancy.
(Polar) Bear in mind that you're using D6, so, even if it says 67% or 83% it's 2/6 or 1/6, so you can expect a 1 and a couple of 2s every single turn! % values can be deceiving. And remember, by clicking on the player, you can Blitz instead of going for a normal tackle, which is useful for your Pestigor (Horns) and also allows you to move after the tackle, it's a movement much used when you have a Beastman (or Pestigor) with the ball, you can Blitz, Follow, get clear of enemies, and run for the score line.
Your dice in the second half were extremely unlucky, I will say on your last turn you could have gone for a pass with your beast-man. Completing a pass gives +1SPP towards leveling up, its worth a try as your last action in a finished game. Amazing series cant wait for more! P.S Buy the Nurgle Warrior! The 4 strength is huge
I love this game, I've played my share, though I prefer scoring teams to bashers (yeah, those pesky elves or humans, prancing and passing all over the field), so it's very interesting to watch a hitter team like this. Also, I've never seen a Nurgle run, so it's doubly entertaining! Keep it up, and I hope you get back to BB3 when it's playable, as it looks pretty.
@@flinfake Yeah, I was thinking just that when he leveled him up, Sure Hands plus Extra Arms seems great, add Big Hand and you basically fail with 1, isn't that so?
@@antoniogonzalezperez8757 Yes indeedy. Extra arms and diving catch are also a solid combo. You can even add pass block and make an interceptor. Extra arms just makes everything better.

Go with another Nurgle Warrior, you have 3 so take a 4th one, that way you can put 2 in the middle next to the beast and on either flank 1 with a rotter that way you wond have so many 1 dice changes with only rotters.
A Pestigor named Mr Unordinary (as he is a mutant, afterall) I say Pestigor over Nurgle Warrior because Bork (generally) seems to carry the team. Better to have two Borks than one. Plus I love the horns.

Honestly, you keep talking about bad luck, but your luck really hasn't been bad at all. Even for bashy teams, armor breaks and injuries are considered a bonus, not an absolute certainty. You didn't fail if you only knocked someone down, you still succeeded. Getting an injury is just extra credit and Star Player Points. Believe me, I've seen BAD luck on this game, and this ain't it.

Nurgle Warriors are pretty useful for a bashie team, I recommend them.
I would definitely go with another pestigor as a ball carrier. Then you are not relying on just one person to score.

Prestigors are surprisingly good at scoring. My Nurgle team is usually just prestigors and rotters. Extra arms is insane.
