It's the first time I see someone not recommending the warlock for new players... That's how you know the class has become really unwanted. RIP WL 2016-2018 :p Also, like some people have mentioned in the comments, I would definitely put BD over BM and KFM for new players - the class is more dps-oriented, very good resists, very fast, and it is not expected to tank in balanced parties (although it's very capable of) For ranged - I would recommend FM over SUM for low ping players. FM is not harder than SUM at all if not easier - all their dps is LMB RMB 2 with occasional inferno + meteor to proc the bracelet. Very very easy class to play. FM is more dependent on reflexes to stuff (Q E), so SUM is much better for high ping players for sure because you don't need position yourself for CCs (all of them on the cat who is always close to the boss) and they have a 5 sec and FM does not (yes FM can self-freeze but you cannot CC / move which is very important for some dungeons / raid bosses). Top 3 melees : 1) warden 2) bd 3) bm (honorable mention is SF - does not tank, does a buttload of dps, KFM-like rotation, can spec spammable block) Top 3 ranges : 1) gunner 2) fm/sum 3) sum/fm
Wind kfm okay for new players cause simple mode already helps it quite alot. Not to mention for high ping, u can use simple mode for the anicancelling. I can testify since I play a wind kfm on 300ms :P

BD is love, but you really need to learn boss rotation with it imo, otherwise you'll be like me and spend half of boss time kd/stun/dazed. Wind I think is a bit easier, because tab(spin2win) doesn't stop your main rotation(sunder-typhoon), I play lighting, which you may need some time to adapt to tab and keep draw stance up(that's why you have to learn boss rotation, so you know when you'll have to leave draw and when it's safe to go back to it). Also BD have phantom grip which people love to get that extra damage and that extra cc on boss(people will tell you a destroyer could do your job, yes he could, but you're a f-ing lyn, so just spin on them haters and grab that CCed boss). I played BD on the CBT but never got to play it on live server until last year because "high ping shouldn't play meelee", only played wl, guns, sum(ex-main), then I created my BD and I just couldn't stop playing it, and now it's my main.
Same happened to me dude... The flame i got was absurd, until someone after a raid discorded me and told me how i am supposed to play properly.. but yeah wasnt that fun
my least favorate classes archer has no dps whatsoever with simple mode, no dps, or you break your fingers from pressing 1 million keys till boss dies. summoner has slow channeling and low dps and useless. force master, how can you even follow the moving and flipping control panels, extremely difficult to play this class. warlock is kind of ok but... it has slow channeling and low enough dps. best classes gunners have 20 times more dps than all other classes with same gears, they can solo warden can burst and continue to burst with simple mode.

It’s because of the new 3rd spec’s. Both of those classes just recently got their 3rd spec’s not too long ago.

simple mode actually does the ani cancel for bd

BisquiteCat FM is relatively easy to start with, but it has a high skill ceiling. it takes a lot of control to maximize your dps
