15 minutes of a group of fully grown men get themselves stuck in quick sand.. strangest video they put up in a while but gosh was it a lot of fun to watch. Way to go Callum!
this is what peak male fantasy is
Sthu
@@Xirree not even a bit wrong
but gosh 😂
middle ass aged white women over here
There are 2 moments in this video that had me going:
1. Was when Callum says to the guys "try a vert jump" (8:06) and they all suddenly realise that they're stuck then Callum just laughs knowing he's just caused panic.
2. And when Benj starts to go back and forth and they all join in (9:30), Max and Drew just suddenly switch to the oh shit mode and start shouting get me out haha.
Wont lie that was tense but hype to watch, stay safe gents.
number 2 its cus sash took the rope away
That rocking back and forth in tandem caused them to sink more and start panicking 😂
sugurd pls
shouting ME OUT LMAOOOOOO
it's not as bad as it seems
Somehow it's always Callum being the last one stuck and he manages to get himself out of any situation every time. Callum you're hilarious and a genius
Because he has very, very large balls. Like huge. That's why he floated so well too
He just probably knew that first, you can't actually "drown" in quicksand and second, that if you do it calmly - you can get out much easier
@@Bergen98
No?
And if it's deep enough?
@@GameslordXY people die from quicksand by freezing to death, not from drowning
Jesus loves you all, have a blessed day or night. May His peace be with you. ❤️❤️❤️
You're a bloody legend Callum. You have balls of steel to stay so calm in that quick sand while everyone else was panicking.
Luckily his balls weren't weighing him down though
Easy to stay calm with 4 pals on shore ready to throw a lifeline
@@MrKockabilly ever heard of survival instinct and adrenaline?
"Are you good?" "...nope!"
@@MrKockabillydude, go touch grass.
Callum’s mental strength is unrivalled. What a legend!
Edit- 4,8k likes wow thanks!
I think he actually had knowledge about quicksand whereas some of the others didn't
You can't sink once you go horizontal
Yeah man, as some one who has horrible claustrophobia (being restrained more than small spaces) it's so so so hard to tell your brain to chill if it's decided to freak out.
@@endofradio3507 i dunno .... as an ex canoeist you would come across this often ..... didnt faze me even once . I suspect if if got upto my neck id be adding to the brown but upto the plumbs not an issue . Chill , float , give it a minute then moan about how dirty you were .
Like nothing is really serious for him, he lives in a comedy, i fucking love him hahaha
@@WeiFinder remember that lesson from Bear Grylls 😁❤️
max giving benj the big brother look with "seriously we need to get out" and benj immediately getting to work lol. i love their relationship
Staying calm is why Callum was able to get out by himself, the non-newtonian nature of quicksand means if you panic and use alot of force it turns rock solid and holds you, but if you use slow gentle movements you can get out. Its the same reason why you could jump on it and it was solid, but if you stand in it you slowly sink.
That doesn’t make sense because if it’s solid you could push yourself out and you would just sink by doing slow movements
Sleep paralysis is like that. The harder you try and wake up, the longer it takes. If you relax, then it dissolves quicker.
But people usually wake up from a bad dream and want to move up in bed.
@@lambs62 at a certain point you stop sinking because of
Buoyancy. I’ve done this many times and gotten shoulder deep, it’s all about staying relaxed and moving slowly almost like your swimming. It takes effort but it’s not hard if you just stay calm and take your time.
Either that or Callum's just a beast, pure muscle no hussle
@@lambs62 think of it like a chinese finger trap.
As someone that works in a quarry. I would just like to add how dangerous this is and for no one to try this themselves.
Also I ran in to you guys a few weeks ago. I came and talked to you at the campsite behind the quarry I work in. Would just like to say what a nice group of lads you are and that you were extremely polite....even though I had to keep asking you to leave the quarry.
I did mineral searching in quarries for years. Mud just latches on and doesn't let go. RIP all the shopping trolleys that broke over the years in that harsh environment.
It's not extremely dangerous as long as you know it is there and you don't panic. Breath slowly, breath in, and make yourself as buoyant as possible and move slowly
Callum: don’t worry guys, it’s going to be fine!
Max: this is the end of storror
Jokes apart, but end of storror means end of Mondays.
I was searching for a comment like this lol
Drew panicking then Max's worried 'we need to get out seriously' to his brother at 10:08 was fucking quality. Also Benj laughing at everyone getting freaked out and Calum just contentedly sinking lower hahaha. Meanwhile Sash just laughs and fake throws the rope to Drew and Max from his safety hahahaha.
I swear storror could literally do anything and it would be entertaining, just shows that parkour is not the only thing these guys have to do although I don’t wish to see them quit.
Exactly such a fun bunch of guys
Absolutely! Their personalities and just them being a group of friends is so wonderful too!
stupid, no one should risk their lifes and others life
u are right they have something special in his frienship
This was INSANE!!! Big up Callum, he never lost his cool and escaped all by himself!
So fun!!!!! I always love your guys' videos! Wishing Toby a speedy recovery as well!! Big up Storror!!!!
Imagine just going out for a walk, then you just see grown men with cameras on watching this shirtless man clearly enjoying sinking on the middle of a quick sand pit thing. I love it HAHAHA
It was the hilarity of them all laughing at him, waiting for him to feel the fear, and being Callum, that didn't happen. The cheeky chappie just chilled out, relaxed and got out with a minimum of stress and effort. Magnificent lol. All of them laughing at him, alone and stranded did have me in fits of giggles, especially with Benj and Max laughing it up.
Proper feel good video today. I love that even with half the crew down with injuries they can still find interesting and funny things to do. So much creativity. :D
He’ll, I would have join them…and showed them how it’s done.
Callum said, quicksand? Hold my beer! I think Callim's mental fortitude in that exercise was because he trusts his mates with anything. We all need this sort of family. Thanks for the escape from the world guys. Even if only for 15 minutes.
Who else remembers when Josh used to be super scared of water challenges?? Now he’s handling quicksand like it’s nothing, big up!

@@NorthAyase I was just trying to say something positive about one of my favorite members of Storror, why are you so concerned with turning it into something negative? 🙄
Had me cracking up. Callum is an absolute gem. I feel like each of you shine in different weeks and Callums stole the show this round.
Best example of why women live longer. This was definitely one of my favourite storror videos.
Daniel give me coffee
Love the chemistry and trust for each other among these guys.. More importantly they enjoy each activity... and time..
Callum well done, you proved the point.
As a kid, alone, I went in faster quick sand than that and sank very fast. When I was waist deep I flopped forward and kind of swam/doggy paddled until I could get hold of some brush to pull up on. Main thing was I never panicked.

@@nopleaseno6988 Nah dude, this is surprisingly a thing in rural areas. I've gone knee deep while fishing and not paying attention and started panicking before I remembered thats EXACTLY what not to do. In my case I was lucky and just slid out of my mud boots but in just a few more seconds I woulda been in real trouble.
@@JarthenGreenmeadow jeez. glad your okay man. i had no idea that happened often
@@nopleaseno6988 quicksands are waaaay more common than we believe, just need an area with loose dirt and water pooling into the area and you could very well just sink up to your waist in one wrong step, and the worst thing is it looks dry on the surface!
That gorgeous Benj's cry from the heart: "Tooobyyy!"
Contrary to popular belief it's actually very difficult to impossible to be completely submerged in quick sand. Most will stop at the waist to stomach area and will just stay there. Not to say it isn't terrifying and dangerous if no one is around to help you if you can't get yourself out but you'll be fine if you don't panic.
Especially if you can go horizontal
Yes I'm a physicist and the idea that it completely pulls you in is generally attributed to the film industry.
@@holliswilliams8426 and people dying most likely get stuck, don't know how to get out, get completely exhausted and dehydrate or fall flat and drown above the surface
Oh yeah, I forgot about humans natural buoyancy.
Yes, it's usually the elements, dehydration etc that kills you, not drowning.
What an absolute champion Callum is. Such Mental and Physical fortitude, this was straight up inspiring.
The skepticism and chaos in this video is just amazing haha

This should get pinned
I love how they panic when toby's not around, get well soon my man!!
Yeah, Tobes is a natural leader when everything goes pear shaped. Can't wait to see the whole team in action again, whatever they're doing, it's always entertaining!
Your so right Toby is the really storror safety team 💪
I am actually dying at everyone panicking yet Benj is just having the time of his life 😂
3:17: "What knot is that?" That looks like round turn and 2 half hitches sir, expertly tied. I speak as a Cub leader. Well done 👏🏻
I as usual give the Swedish solution: "Dubbelt halvslag" 😊
There’s no round turn that i can see, it honestly looks like Callum has tied 3 hitches (basically a granny knot 😂)
@@jay-ts8ux Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. I was worried it would slip along the branch as there didn't appear to be any tension on the loop. That's why a clove hitch is the quick and easy solution, so simple to learn and as long as you keep some weight on it, it won't shift.
Genuinely laughed all the way through this! 😂😂😂 Legit best channel on RUclips! 👌
Big up for joiningggggg!!!
Get well soon Bob. I was looking forward to those massive water gap jumps! Soon I hope 🙏
Chaotic Storror mucking around in quicksand. Honestly I’ll watch any Storror content cause their relationships and interactions with each other are hilarious and they’re always looking out for each other at the end of the day. They celebrate each other’s successes and nonsense. HAHAHA
Drew is more terrified here than we've ever seen him lol. Broken ankle, ehh it happens yeah. Quicksand? GET ME THE FUCK OUT GENUINE SERIOUSLY.
Thank you storror for taking care of each other unlike a-hole "prank channels" who'd probably continue watching their mates suffer.
i mean one can kill you the other just limits ur mobility for a short time. you think they sunk quickly here? If this pit was deeper they would’ve sunk even fasterz. .
@@bartard5199Very true i was once in a deeper pit, and my whole leg sunk in a second. The only reason I didn't keep sinking was because my other leg was on some tree roots.
Legitimately hilarious. From dubbing Callums hair and filming his bare arse, to the exploratory toes in and then going full crazy and sinking waist deep. Him extracting himself the correct way, without panicking shows that although he's often flippant and daft, he's got a strong mind and big brass balls!
Brilliantly entertaining video, something interesting when half the crew can't pull out bangers because of injury. It was so funny watching you all panic and barely make it with the ropes and each others assistance, only for Callum to chill in the quicksand for ages and then solo himself out so calmly, with a murderous cramp to boot. Amazing work lads.
Keep getting better Toby, hope to see you back in business soon.
Some Josh bravery on display too, given his dislike of water it takes some balls to get stuck in quicksand!
Callum is always the last one to get out of escape room challenges and this time too! It was really cool to see how he managed to escape, its very fun to see the Storror bois make all these amazing videos, keep it up!
Real talk, this made me way more nervous then a lot of sketchy stuff you guys do. Like really imagine the feeling of getting slowly consumed by the earth 🥵
One day there will be a video and it’s just storror doing parkour on the moon, this stuff is crazy.
that's a pretty good idea for a future video
That sounds dope
the funny thing is is that this will probably be possible in a decade or two
On the list
@@STORROR Let's goooo
there should be more videos like these :) where its not necessarily parkour, but just all of you working together as a group trying new things. this video was so much fun to watch
Good on Drew for being responsible and knowing when to stop.
I'm not saying the others were being reckless but it can be pretty difficult to be the first one to say that it's enough in a challenge like this and I think it's commendable that everyone treated the situation with the seriousness it deserved when it was called for.
Yep totally
They were never in danger as long as they had rope and someone on the outside to help them
I feel like that is one of the things, that they do soooooo well. They really ust look out for each other, lush themselves when needed. But never too far and know each other
Honestly me and my homies would sink to death before anyone tried to leave
Big ups, Drew!
That was crazy, scary, educational and many other words. WOW, hats off to you for putting yourselves through that experience and big up Callum for staying calm and getting out on his own 🔥
Besides Drew’s genuine panic, this was the funniest video you’ve guys ever had
These type of videos show, that although your main domain is parkour you guys as a group could be successful in every environment your put in. Watching you is just always entertaining.
thank you guys ❤
these guys being equal parts, entertaining and skilled is why everyone falls down the rabbit hole once they start watching their videos. can't wait for that project, it looks so cool.
Callum is calm, level-headed and down to earth. Able to assess the situation and display appropriate behaviours in order to solve the problem. Excellent.
Down to earth?? Haha literally
As a kid I thought quicksand would be a common issue I would face 😅
As an adult, I’m surprised they just had a local quicksand pool at hand for this lmao

Callum: “don’t worry guys, we’ll be fine”
Max: “this may be the end of storror”
Drew: Don't try it at home
Me at home: **Checks surroundings for quicksand** Ok, no worries. I definitely won't try this at home.
I love how everybody panic and Callum just chillin :-D
never laughed like this for a long time! max and drew was the stars in this video HAHAHA. well done callum
Fun fact: because quicksand is denser than humans it's impossible to be fully submerged as it will only displace your weight.
Exactly , best to lay on your back for greater surface area and lift your legs out in the natural direction where you have more strength in your legs 🍻
@@drunkdunc8738 that's essentially what Callum did, he just lay forwards until his legs were lifted up
@@holliswilliams8426 👍yeah , petty much but for the average Joe lying on your back takes less strength and Callum has a bad ass haircut which helps 🍻
Well.. just don't fall in headfirst.
and humans somehow exist in solid and liquid form at the same time. Aren't we special?
Callum and Drew are on both ends of the spectrum when it comes to how brave they are. 😭🤣 Fair Play to Callum for staying so calm though. I would panic my ass off like Drew if I was dropped in quicksand.
Love the videos, Gents.
For what it's worth, a few years ago, I came a step or two away from (maybe) dying in mud. Was tossing a frisbee with a buddy close to a stream. The stream was coming from a nearby forest and had created a muddy/marshy area before feeding into a lake. Went to retrieve the frisbee that landed in the stream. I had to downclimb about 6ft to get to this area, so I was beyond eyesight of my buddy. Took a step towards the frisbee and sunk into the mud up to about mid-quadricep-muscle depth. Was sorta stuck at that point. Saw an ~8ft long fallen branch within reach. Grabbed it and planted it into the mud infront of me in order to give myself better leverage to get out. The tree branch sunk down into the mud at least 6ft with almost no resistance. Terrifying. Had I stepped in a foot further, I think I would likely have disappeared immediately and I think that would have been the end of me. It took me the better part of about 5 minutes to get my one leg out of the mud, slowly and repeatedly shifting it back and forth and side to side. Lost a running shoe to the sunction of the mud - no chance of retrieving it.
Anyway, just thought I'd share that here. Seems relevant.
its impossible to die tho because mud and quicksand is denser. you will only go to your neck deep
Yeah, quicksand, deep mud, and peat bogs. The trifecta of insanely dangerous semi-liquids. I'm the only one of the people I know to have ever experienced quicksand in the wild and in reality, which is crazy considering I'm by no means an outdoorsy person. Unlucky, I guess.
Thanks for the lesson, sincerely!
Just another day at the local spa for the lads. Skin mask and massage provided on the house. Amazing escape Callum! Unbelievable.
I have been waiting for this since seeing the Instagram clip of Callum and now you have fully cemented my fear of quick sand into my brain!
I love your Monday videos they really cheer me up. thank you for all the videos the banter is hilarious
That was a good brothers moment when Max said thay have to seriously get out and Benj instantly started to get out.
These are my favorite types of videos from you guys. When you incorporate how goofy a group of friends can be
Been waiting for this since I saw Callum in a Storror short 😂 funny as lads 👊🏽👊🏽
great video again lads its impressive how you guys can do a video with absolutely anything and i laughed so hard at max and benj reaction when they tried to do the vertical jump in the quicksand i swear both of your reactions were the exact same haha
Holy shit, another amazing video lads - just to see a bunch of lads who willingly get stuck in quick-sand and escape with the help of each-other (apart from Callum) is just on another level, hope Toby's ankle heals up in time for Friday's video, like I said earlier, amazing video guys.
callum being not only perfect calm but sometimes rightfully giddy and joking during almost any situation is impressive
Awesome video, I have stepped on quicksand before and drove on it, sand is very deceiving when dry and even worse when wet. The panic is understandable, but hilarious to watch, I couldn't help literally laughing out loud!
Callum controlled his emotions well, that's the importance of keeping calm in stressful situations, you're chances of success against the odds are much higher than resorting to panicking, obviously.
I love how Callum was in his element, like how Josh is just perfect when you have a tiny gap that nobody else can get through.
Man, Josh is half liquid lol. The gaps he pours himself through would be physically impossible for me, just because my ribcage is too deep. I did a bit of potholing when I was a kid and a little less bulky across the shoulders and ribs, and Josh would absolutely slay a potholing challenge! I don't think Drew would much like it though lol.
@@Si74l0rd I used to be able to, I used to be super skinny, you could see my ribs easily enough, but now, well, too much time on a computer with fatty foods xD
@@Kaiimei Haha yeah, I'm in the same boat there! I broke 3 ribs, a wrist and the head of the radius at the elbow, best collection of injuries I've ever had in one shot lol. I came off my skateboard doing close to 30mph down a hill and wrecked myself good, so I won't be squeezing through any gaps any time soon! Even squeezing past people to get off the bus is agony right now lol. I'll just live vicariously through the Storror crew for a few weeks ;D
@@Si74l0rd For me it was my school deciding to do away with P.E. and devote more time to being sat in a classroom, meaning I lost my main avenue of exercise. Outside of school I didn't have time for it, had homework to do then had social stuff to keep up with, so I didn't have time to go out for runs or stuff like that, which meant I never got into the habit of doing such, which led to today, a stomach slowly getting bigger and desires to get fitter, but not the motivation for it.
Yay for laziness! xD
That's insane how I was just watching videos on how to get out of quicksand randomly couple days ago. Then you guys upload this? Amazing!
When you spend the day in absolute depression mode but Callum yelling "MOM I'VE SHAT MYSELF" makes you cackle like a lunatic for 3 minutes straight anyway...
And that's why I love you all.
Cartoons raised me to believe getting stuck in quicksand was going to be much more prevalent in adult life.
Drew is the king of saying things that can be taken the wrong way. "If you struggle with it, it just sucks you more."
nah
dont hoover your junk m8
The comparison between Drew and Callum's mental stability in a dire situation is very interesting to watch😆I thought Drew was gonna have a panic attack for real. Tbh I'd probably freak out as well if I were in his shoes😭
I saw this on shorts yesterday I thought it was a old video, you guys are nuts for doing this my anxiety would be through the roof
I love the display of setting your mind to do something considered impossible and following through and getting it done.
This entire video gave me a panick attack. 🤣 no idea how you guys do this hahaha

Entertaining as always. I'm actually looking forward for Monday because of you guys.
Contrary to popular belief, quicksand can't actually swallow you whole. I'd love to try that and see if watching all those survival shows actually paid off.
This shows that it is possible to get out of quicksand with technique by yourself, and you could see that it is not easy to get out.
Thank you for showing this.

I love how they are scared of quicksand but they do all the crazy jumps and moves that I would never have the balls to do. I got stuck in quicksand loads of times and it's really not as dangerous as people think, you can't really drown in it. And to get out the best thing to do is stay calm, go horizontal and slowly crawl/swim your way out, it can take a while but you will be fine. The only real danger would be dehydration if the sun is burning down on you on a hot summer day.
I mean, I can imagine it being dangerous if you don't know what to do. Considering you sink, if you panicked and end up sinking to the point that it got up to your neck you would be essentially immobilized.
Amazing vid, and even when he’s not there Toby is always there in spirit!
Everyone freaking out trying to get out and Callum chilling like he's in the pool at summer break

This was madly entertaining you have no idea
