In my opinion TDX is way better since the modes don’t lie and the commander doesn’t lie (i forgot the real name💀)

Harder enemies come on sooner waves.
Less waves means less support time
The devs changed the game in 2020 and 2021 and at the time it was unbalanced so they’ve been rebalancing the game since, but they haven’t rebalanced the gamemodes yet. In the next update they will tho

this is a very very extremely promising tds beginner
-he actually used more snipers than scouts (better damage/range, can do really well if spammed)
-somewhat decent placement, actually made it so it would hit BOTH paths (u-turn)
-bought demoman out of everything, arguably the best first tower to buy due to control control / splash damage + damage in general, imo everything else in there IS STRAIGHT GARBAGE
some tips
-molten is actually easier than normal, with good placement the towers you have now could easily carry you while on normal it cant (i dont get it either)
-if you decide to play some more id recommend grinding for farm, then either ace pilot (best dps, no hidden detection until fully upgraded), military base (best with hiddens, great all game, but struggles extremely in harder game modes, or pyromancer (crowd control, low damage but it builds up creating much higher damage the longer near the tower, great with hiddens, horrible dps)
- beat the living out of who leaves you mid game

why do you recommend him to grind for farm when he has no expensive towers to buy/upgrade? it is such a waste of money, ace pilot should be the first tower to grind for, then farm or mini, soldier is also pretty nice starting tower, if not ace then soldier is completely fine
as a former lvl 209 tds player, i would prefer getting shotgunner or ace pilot, and ace pilot gets hidden detection at lvl 4, but yeah you only get farm when you have expensive towers like a military base (costs more than 30K) or maybe a minigunner (even if its like 20K to max one, he wont have dj) so yeah, also first support he should get is commander then dj then medic then any support like electroshocker
yeah something more like that, although wouldnt get ace pilot first its a little bit expensive, he made a good choice getting demoman first.@@Boxin.
@@AnahiRumak demoman is kinda mid, unless they buffed it, a lot of people think the same, soldier would be better, especially when you can pretty much solo molten with just soldier without any support
In my opinion, he should grind for soldier, then millitant, then ace pilot because millitant can solo molten.

ay man this was fun to watch hope to see more. i was pessimistic as a tds beginner so it’s nice to see an optimistic tds beginner’s perspective.
btw a tip i haven’t seen anyone bring up is to NOT waste cash on placing towers to finish off low hp enemies near the base like in 4:12 . The zombie only had 6hp so it’s better to just tank the hit and use your cash towards upgrades. also sniper woulda handled that anyway.

hey, great video man. I remember a part of the video where you asked what pumpkins do and theyre apart of the season pass [ battlepass ] you bassicly just collect them and get rewards mainly being skins.
I went into this video thinking it would be criticizing tds for any of the errors that it had, but it was very laidback and I really enjoyed it! I am excited to see a part 2!

Keep playing this, it's really fun but hard at start so try to team with good people and level up slowly to get better towers

btw:
• try to make more use of the towers' ranges by placing them farther from the path, and on the insides of corners/turns (however, certain towers are better closer to the path)
also if a map has intersecting paths you should try to place towers near them
• try to upgrade towers more instead of placing a ton (generally, quality>quantity, but not with every tower)
• don't worry if an enemy makes it to your base as long as it has low enough hp (as to not waste money)
also, probably try to buy soldier next
ALSO join the game's group to get 100 extra cash before every game (it can make a difference)

molten mode is easier than normal mode btw, and every few levels you get a tower up until level 100
next tower i reccomend is either ace or militant and then farm
also there are achievements from beating modes that get you a few extra rewards
the event is a VERY good way to grind coins if you go into trios as you can handle early game and your teammates can deal with the actual enemies later on most of the time, which results in you winning and getting a lot of coins. I only reccomend doing this on act 1 though..
also i have another tower defense game to reccomend.. noob warfare! its very fun and pretty balanced, also a new update is coming soon (December 2nd)

Here is a tip from someone with every tower except some event towers buy ace pilot first it’s the best tower you can get for only 1.5k coins needed which is equivalent to 3 molten mode wins, when compared to other good towers the next tower arguably better than it is the mini gunner at 5k coins needed or the equivalent of 10 molten mode wins
after you are able to get mini gunner I recommend farm as the mini gunner is quite expensive but does great damage and has no placement limit (which means you can place unlimited until your tower limit is reached) unlike lots of other dps towers you get later on like accelerator (the single best dps tower in the game) engineer and pursuit. Each have their pros and cons.
TLDR: just get ace pilot as it does good early on and does much better in the late game than your other towers
Get soldier before ace, then get farm after ace, then get mini, then do whatever u want

I got some tips: don't buy pyro, or soldier if you plan on getting a gold crate, so you have a chance of getting gold mini which is considered one of the best gold skins, you can buy a golden skin directly when it's in stock in the shop too. however it takes a long time for it to be there and costs 10% more than a regular golden crate

As a level 332 player (yes I play this game a lot) you were actually pretty good for a first timer and had decent placement which I don't see a lot with beginners and a quick tip always choose molton over normal mode and play quads if you want a higher chance of winning I would love to see how you become a god in tds

“Directly inspired by tower battles” is correct, when they first made the game all the waves were basically the same and all the enemies basically looked the same and a buncha other stuff. They got a tiny bit better with differing later on though

If you noticed, the commander was mentioning mysteries, but breakers were spawning. This is because of the new, less rng oriented system that the devs are slowly pushing out called Enemies Beta. This system uses refreshed enemy models and replaces any rng based enemy with a version that isn't very rng based. Breakers replace mysteries.
I literally love how the "how to play" billboards in the main lobby and the intermission lobby doesn't get noticed at all
bro ur actually so good let me give you some tips as a lvl 160 player
Make sure to never by Freezer. It's bad instead buy pyro as it has defense melting.
Make sure to also buy militant as it is good for early defense. If you can also get minigunner, farm, dj and commander. Ranger is another tower i'd reccomend. It's like sniper but 10x better.
Then once you have a loadout like Militant, Farm, Minigunner, Dj and Commander you should be able to solo molten.

Heres some tips on progression from a lvl 270:
Go for ace, farm, mini, commander and then dj and at last medic.
as you are likely not that good of a player, learn how to commander chain (place 3 lvl 2 commanders, upgrade one to max lvl, but the rest not. then use one of the abilities. when it runs out, use another and so on)
you can likely get carried by high level players if u know how to use dj, commander and medic.
having supports is a baseline thing in tds and most solo loadouts consist of: farm, commander, dj, anything early, anything good dps (minigunner, accelerator, ranger if u rly know ur stuff or anything
After minigunner, get lvl 50 as fast as possible and try to do hardcore. lvl 50 unlocks a good tower: turret, but it also makes u able to play hardcore. if ur looking to do any harder gamemode (Polluted wastelands 2, badlands) you basically need a couple guys with accel, and in any game it’ll be easier with accel. also recommend buying jester with robux while event is active as its a rly good tower. (Any gamemode except normal is easier with accel btw. normal is just a bad and unbalanced gamemode. Better off with mini on it)
After accel, DONT grind for engineer. its good, but not worth 4500 gems, its better to grind for golden crate. what u want from it is gold scout and gold mini, the others are pretty mid. (Keep in mind though: gold soldier is really good in events as it has flying detection and good dps and g pyro makes life way easier if u get it on wave 7 badlands and polluted wastelands)
next is the fun mode i’d say. go for what u want, beat some events, play with underrated towers, make some vids and so on! grind for all the other towers and have a good time discovering ranger can destroy fallen king if u have alot of them, or that demo is rly good in molten too and can kill molten boss! or mortars hidden strengths!

Oh yeah also, the system for matchmaking puts you with people around your level, so its better asking to get carried in a lobby rather than going matchmaking.
another addition: dont buy toxic gunner, it used to give a 5% slowing debuff to enemies but not anymore and its overall pretty good early but def not that good
I enjoy watching new gen players pick normal thinking it’s the easiest mode

You should make a series where you play your fan's games
Tip: grind for minigunner farm DJ and commander. you can win normal and molten easily with these towers. For early defense, I recommend solder.

1:19 as a normal TDS player you have no idea how painful that placement felt
And also i can agree Normal mode needs a nerf
(Trust me, all new players fall for the trap Normal mode places down)
Oh, and heres a big tip: NEVER GET FREEZER. It is the worst tower in-game and it deals little to no damage. Also its freeze ability lasts not even 2 seconds. Meaning its useless.
There was a freezer rework planned, but that was nearly 2 years ago at this point
watching you vote normal can make a 3 year veteran cry (i have played for three years and havent beaten normal yet)
You should try tower blitz. It doesn't have much players but its also pretty good. It's also kinda discontinued but there should be a big update hopefully in the couple of months/years. (Solo dev i believe)
im a level 92 and i can say with ease that: YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS MORE THIS WAS ACTUALLY SO FUNNY

A part 2 would be very interesting also a big warning normall mode is harder than molten and fallen beacuase molten and falllen have 40 waves while normal is 35 also try to ask for help in the lobby some peole can be pretty nice and give tips

i agree with you tds is a wonderful game but it does have its issues such as sometimes the zombies freeze in place after they die, the beginner mode normal is harder than molten mode but overall tds is a good game
As a lvl 250 player I would recommend u to play molten instead of normal cuz its easier to beat and rewards u with more gold
And try getting ace pilot, soldier and farm as ur next towers
Also the demoman u bought is effective for crowed control but not so much for bosses so next time try concentrating on snipers for bosses and place demos for weaker zombies

Hey i have some tips for you 1: Molten mode is the easiest and best for coins
2: sniper si better than scout
3:Never listen to the commander his tips suck
4:save for farm then minigunner and commander and dj later and the rest of the towers later.

To get good you have to do only one thing: use your brain (by that I mean logical thinking is the way to go, like “optimize space, leave space for better towers, etc”)
i think you should try a game called decaying winter, some animations is pretty cool there and there's also some sick design, you should check it out!
haha this is so funny actually though, most tds pros would freak out if they saw this but this is funny actually a lot of tips could be given on gamemodes how to play and leveling up but this is a very promising eventual tds player

Hey ummm, im tds pro here lvl 200+, i would recommend u to get ace pilot and farm , farm is a good source of money and also ace is a cheap yet op tower
I also recommended u to get support tower such as commander and dj, commander boost firerste and dj gives range and discount

I suggest eventually getting soldier too. just avoid towers like paintballer and freezer. those two towers are trash and have yet to be reworked in any way.
and make sure to stick to molten for grinding.
More Tds but let me lend you some advice!
Do molten mode it is the easiest
Get solider, militant, ace pilot, farm and others but never get freezer and paintballer.
Play with high level players
And grind for coins
Its quite hard to play for the first time, without knowing anything
When i first joined i didnt even know that hidden detection is a thing and i would die to hiddens all the time until i got an insane team on pizza party and they carried me (free warden lol, warden has hidden detection on the first level so it helped me a lot), fast forward to now i have a pretty decent loadout, i fit every type (early defender, late defender, mid defender etc), also if u would like to play i'd be pretty glad to help u in the game! (also gained a sub cus epic)

Tip for tds spam lvl 1 scouts until wave 10 and upgrade them to lvl 2 and thats it u will win the game and don't choose normal choose molten mode cuz its the easiest

If you dont know why normal is hard its because it does not have qlot of waves so you will be against hard bosses more early such qt the grave digger as the final boss.
The normal boss is the earliest boss and speedy is the hardest because of his speed and health and slow boss is easy if you have strong defense and he is slow as well
