- A little distraction, building the shuttle.
The frigate's cargo transfer system needs some love, but otherwise major features are complete and its mostly aesthetics now. Its crazy how you can take a screenshot to show off, but then immediately change a hundred things and then you have to take another shot. I would have never thought the part count "limit" in KSP to be a good thing, but it did make it easier to feel like a ship was complete. I don't know if i'll be able to do cinematics in Starship EVO, maybe further down its development. Right now its scratching my ship-building itch, and doing it at a mid-level of complexity i always wanted. Minecraft, Spaceship Engineers, Stormworks. They have their own vibes. I like this one right now.
Also i fudged the title, i'm only at 268.6 hours 0_0
If you wandered in: the Starship EVO community is mostly active on Discord and the Github from what i've seen. That's where i get most of my help.
some nice stuff in there, we (my bro and I) build in STEVO as well, so I appreciate the nice touches. Love the command centre turtle mode, and that shuttle's cute.
Im glad to see this game is still going strong.
Looking for more StEVO content. I really liked your choice of music! The shuttle's landing gear may be inelegant, but it's sooo much more than we can do in Space Engineers, despite tons of players who've longed for and tried to create folding landing gear mechanisms. :D
Was so excited for this when it came out back when it was called Skywanderers but I still get motion sickness, even just watching videos of it. This and half life 2 are literally the only games that ever made me feel motion sick. Shame because the build possibilities are amazing(nice builds btw). I wish we had this kind of build flexibility in space engineers.
This game is gorgeous! It is the game I look forward the most to play when more stable. Sadly, development is quite slow. I’d pay 3x the value of it only to help the dev to achieve its goals.
I want this game to become complex like Stormworks
Theres no better crafting game than Starship Evo the designs you could make by using mechanisms of SEVO, and the fact that you can stretch blocks set this game apart, sadly is the only thing you can do with it, sure there is an occasional pirate to fight if you look for it, and you can also spawn hostiles but frankly this serves only for testing purposes than anything else.

There use to be crash damage? All this game needs is survival that has practical use for quality of life with hostile environment you have to build for survival and this might just beat Space Engineers.

Starship Evo on steam
To me it beats Space Engineers and Empyreon in terms of crafting, just the fact that you can craft from massive space ships to hand held guns using the same blocks is mind boggling, anther point is that you can easily scale blocks in SEVO and also stretch them too, this allow for creating some really nice designs and very easily too.
Other games like SE and EGS you spent hours and even days building stuff while gathering materials and such, while in SEVO you simply build and you can literally lose yourself by doing so.
Hello, I wanted to ask you how the flight physics are compared to other construction games like SE or empyrion and also the collision physics. I have been following this game and I see so many possibilities, but I wanted to know your impressions. I give your video a well-deserved like. and thank you for showing us this magnificent game
Oof sorry for the late reply! The atmo flight physics are no different than zero-g flying, with the exception of gravity added into the calcs. There might be some extra atmo drag but i really don't notice it. Collision wise, I might have to try sandbox to really see how its done... in creative the only damage that occurs is from weapons fire.

@@LeSeigneurPanda in SE you cannot build 90% of the mechanisms presented in EVO, without occupying 30 square meters with pistons and hinges. and this game is made by one person without selling 8 DLCs for 20 dollars each (and segregating the players into two classes)
@@weiserwolf580 Totally agree, even if DLC's are not necessary, it's still annoying that devs more interested in milking money than making a game. They need a lot of time to add even basic blocks, when community makes already more useful things in workshop.
Starship EVO has almost the greatest building systems, which allows you to build different shapes and even more. But in SE it always comes to workshop, want to have longer slopes? Download from workshop! Why can't SE devs add them by themself?

в видеоматериале понятно что это игра песочница типа Space Engineers, но можно было снять больше взаимодействия а не просто полеты на кораблях. и еще одно музыкальное сопровождение подобрано крайне неудачно, оно раздражает музыкальный слух
