Nostalgia exists because of loss. It is the loss of the ability to truly experience something in the same way, the same context, and the same mental state in which you previously experienced it. So, in a way, anything that evokes nostalgia has at least the touch of darkness to it. Nostalgia can be a pleasant reverie, but it is also like a drug. It's like what would play if Team Rocket won, and got away with all of his pokemon. His entire journey destroyed. Having to start all over with nothing. The faster portion near the end being his recollection of the times he spent with his pokemon, and then the realization those times are gone.
Nostalgia. Sad. Regret. Oh - the past won’t come back. When we were just children running on the prairie declaring we will rule the world. Believing there will be a better day. All of us together, never leaving. Never a part. Now - some had passed. Some had moved away. Some had lost hope. The past is long gone. Withering, we asked what have we become? Did we stay true or become someone we don’t even recognize in the mirror anymore. 😔
If the Ash coma at the end of the pilot episode theory was true, this would make a great music to play when ash finds out his entire adventure was only a dream. :)
Feels like my heart is getting ripped out of my chest, remembering back to every time I played the games... I just couldn't do it, I completed the stories but the pokedex, the game... Red... I couldn't do it... but I still feel, happy, in the end, thank you
This tune kinda fits my headcannon and the story of a rom hack I am working on that the game generations take place in reverse order. In the bid to "catch em all" to fuel the world's power supply by using captured pokemon after their trainers grow up and forget about them, too many pokemon were caught, destroying ecosystems and consequently entire regions with the only evidence left behind from the now lifeless areas being in the form of simulations created by region professors of how life was living back there was (their respective games) .As their neighbours and their pokemon were destroyed and resources and power in subsequent regions depleted the similation's quality and diversity of pokemon shown in them also deteriorated as one by one each region fell. Soon unessesary things like bonding with pokemon, curry making and playing with them were forgotten as more and more regions and their ways of life went down and things got tenser between existing ones. Soon war for resources and pokemon to power the world broke out between Kanto and Johto and Kanto prevailed leaving only a few adults, a bunch of war veterans and the last 151 species pokemon left in the world awaiting their eventual extinction.
This is the BEST/WORST Nuzlocke theme. I'll tell you why. Listen to this at the end of your game. Open your PC and look at your GRAVEYARD. All of those Pokemon DIED to serve you. An undying, unrelenting, unyielding love drove them to make their final move for YOU. Then see those who survived, those who were just as willing to die but lived. The impact of all those sacrifices will lay heavy on your heart. Never forget those legends. RIP Ocean Knight, Marlon, TAYA, Dr. Who, James Beaver/Gaming Beaver, ShadowRaptor, Dominator, and everyone else. I'm sorry, Cynthia and the E4 were too much... I NEVER could deserve your friendships... I'm sorry.

After realizing, all of his friends were gone. He knew, he just knew he had to give everything he has. A strong battle in which both sides were willing to give their lives for the cause. They emerged victorious, and looking back to the destruction that was left behind. Where even after winning, he lost everything. Ash, walks home, seeing his friends, pokemon, family, saying goodbye. He heads to the old bridge he always used to play on. Realizing there's no more in this world left for him. He whispers under his breath, "I love you". He puts his hand in his pocket to reach out a old, pokeball. With the words Pikachu written on it. The sudden memories flooding in causes him to burst into tears and he realizes there's only one thing left for him. One place. He gets in his car, turns it on and drives, for hours. Until he reaches a small abandoned town. He gets out of the car at the city limit and scrubs off the overgrown foliage on the sign to reveal the words Pallet Town. After walking the same sidewalk he'd always go across as a little kid he stumbles upon that same place he was looking for. That one place that made him feel safe. He enters the dimly lit home and flips the switch. As he slowly walks step by step into the home. He sees the place where his mom would cook him dinner every day. And where he'd finish schoolwork and rush to go on an adventure. He walks up to his room, and opens the closet. To find that same red hat and blue clothes. He drives back to that bridge, climbs the ledge. And sitting on the railing, he knows. This is the last breath I'll ever take. And as he falls, hears "Ash", it was his mother's voice. At that point it was too late, he fell and the only thing that controlled him was the current. He fought as hard as he could, but in the end, he disappeared from behind the trees. And was never seen again. *The End*
Now I hear the dark in the cover, but to me it sounds more sad or depressing. Like that one scene in the first movie with Ash when he runs between the attacks of mew and mewtwo and “dies”
Although you don't give music sheets and i have to purchase it (although i am broke tho) but i can hear and see what you play actually and i can play it on my own too i have learn many things from you 💗 so thanks
At first it feels sad, lonely, then goes on to become dramatic and painful, like going through difficult times full of scarifices, and memories full of pain. Then it becomes rather hopeful, like you are just about to reach the end of this pain, you can now see the light, only for the music turn sad again, as if that hope of finally finding some happiness and light was a mere fleeting dream, and you realise you are still stuck in a dark cave where you have lost everything, no one is there with you anymore, all gone, and now you have no way out. All those dreams you chased upto now, all those bonds you made, everything now lost, as you realise that.....this is the end. But if one were to put it in a positive note then the 1st part is start of nostalgia...where ash is looking back at how he made so many bonds with human and pokemon. The dramatic part would represent all those hardships, those battles against the villains and his rivals, fighting to protect the people and pokemon. And the last part, is simply him, with his friends and pokemon , with his mom and professor oak, all gathered back at his home, looking back on his journey, realising how far he has come. At the end whether this music gives positive or negative feeling, all depend on how we see it. I see it in these two ways, i wonder who else does❤❤❤
I get kind of conflicting emotions from this, but they somehow go together really well? Kind of like when you combine two flavors that you would expect to taste awful together, only for them to compliment each other. Kind of reminds me of the way Dracula’s Fate (Castlevania AOS) sounds kind of weirdly sweet to me, but works really well in it’s context.

When you wanna be the very best but the first wild pokémon you encounter is Hypno.
_I became the very best, that no-one ever was...but at what cost?_
I mean, it is very good
I wouldn’t call it “dark” though.
But it definitely has more emotions put into it :)
I quite like it
It's like what would play if Team Rocket won, and got away with all of his pokemon. His entire journey destroyed. Having to start all over with nothing. The faster portion near the end being his recollection of the times he spent with his pokemon, and then the realization those times are gone.
Me after missing an event exclusive Pokemon and realize ill never catch 'em all
If Pokémon ever had a last episode this would be the theme song to be played
its no longer a theme its pure emotion! Thank you!
When Professor Cherry doesn't have any lunch lectures in the types your specializing in...
I loved this version. Impressed am I.
Nostalgia. Sad.
😔
Wow just wow, it's heavenly....Not at all dark. It's soothing and beautiful.
Red... I couldn't do it... but I still feel, happy, in the end, thank you
I cannot stop myself from screaming “..you teach me and I’ll teach you, POKÉMON!!!” at that part. I just.. can’t.
Your video thumbnails are something else, keep up the good work bro👍🏽
i'm literally crying unwillingly thx
im not crying my eyes are just sweating
Melancholic childhood dreams are now dead. Grieve for innocence.
If Ash was narrating his time as a Pokémon trainer to his grandchildren, and gets vivid memories of Pikachu, Mistie, and Brock
I absolutely love this
This was freaking awesome!
This would be the perfect background song for when Ash gets turned to stone when he tried to end the Mew-Mewtwo fight
It's very extraordinarily....Bravo!!!
damm you know this was good when i stayed for all 6 mins with my adhd that was amazing
Definitely not getting dark and emotional outta this. More calming if anything
I watched half of the video. Then came back after 2 hours. And it felt like a classical masterpiece. I couldnt even hear the connection to pokemon
Incredible work :)
Beautifull thanks PianoDeus
I'm sorry.
Not dark at all, but still an amazing piece.
The to be continued finally ends and we see Ass ketchup lying in a hospital bed with Pikachu, they’ve been in a coma for over 20 years
He finally wakes up
It was all
just a dream
C sympa d'avoir ajouté un morceau de J.S Bach dans le morceau! Thank you for this music,i'm really happy to listen this
thank you
Now can we understand this music will be came true
Now it's finally time to said Ash and Pikachu and all characters who came on Ash journey also farewell to us
In childhood we enjoy them after all it's to time 25 years or reletable journey 😔 we miss u Ash and Pikachu.. thanks for everything
OMG, this is beautiful!!
*The End*
You mean that he died
Now I hear the dark in the cover, but to me it sounds more sad or depressing. Like that one scene in the first movie with Ash when he runs between the attacks of mew and mewtwo and “dies”
Brought me to tears
If Pokemon and Castlevania had a baby... this would definitely be its OST.
When he slow down at 4:50sec, this tune can be used in pokemon episodes even in sad or emotional moments 😍.
Although you don't give music sheets and i have to purchase it (although i am broke tho) but i can hear and see what you play actually and i can play it on my own too i have learn many things from you 💗 so thanks
Put speed on 0.5 and learn it, learned most of his covers like that, im broke as well lmao but it works
I see it in these two ways, i wonder who else does❤❤❤
This is amazing thank you!
Oh I won't listen to this Pokemon theme again and I'll cry again 😰😭, it's too good and very touching theme.
amazing
Incredible just Incredible
fucking hell, I was cheerful and laughing my ass off a few minutes ago. Out of curiousitiy I clicked on this video and now I wanna cry...
I am crying 😭 It’s so beautiful, uhhuhhhh
Respect dude, you had me memorized
mesmerized? lol
@@demetriusalden9426 no now it’s memorized😔
He had me memorized too. His covers are absolutely beautiful.
Ash was in a coma the entire time, he evolved and went to heaven
Beautiful
Please make music sheets for this! I love this cover 😍
Hes done it hes now the best like no one ever was
Magnifique 🥺😭👍
Amazing cover!!! Excellent job!!!
Why does this make me wanna cry
Ohhh the toccata and fugue part
Hearing about Jesse and James pasts.
If the pokemon franchise ever ended (which it probably won't), this is how I imagine the soundtrack to its last announcement
remember when you made your pokemon came back to his pokeball one last time after winning the league, you put your team back to your belt, write their name in the pantheon, and after the last save you close your nintendo DS and never open it again
i was reading berserk (the casca & Griffith flashback ya know nothing SERIOUS or anything) and this just shuffled on like it was allowed to lmao
