Ken here again! I sent you an email about this and other villages and towns like it. Is the comment below true? That this town dates to 1200BC? Wow. I will have to rewatch it, and I look forward to your email reply. You have some of the most remarkable, emotion-filled walking tours on RUclips. Every time you turn down another cobblestoned street in a hilltop town, it seems to actually breathe, to whisper its secrets, its stories of centuries gone by. What a marvelous thing you do.
Dear Ken, this is a touching message, the one of the likes I'm saving in my hard drive; the best reward one can have with this hobby is indeed to read that such kind of videos were able to touch somebody, or to create some emotions. Glad to read it... and touched and honuured. Yup, it's THAT old as I read (!). Quite an impressive town. I'll check the email then!
Dear Riccardo, I don't think I will ever get tired of watching your videos of these enchanting small towns. I like the house at 11:42 and the pretty garden at 12:59. I was quite taken with your walk through the old part of the town. Lots of interesting things to see. I was truly fascinated by the 'Square of the Beautiful Thought.' Can anyone who visits there, write a message and leave it as part of the display? Ok, I must admit I was kind of creeped out by the sound of the cat sensor but I guess the cats around the area has grown accustomed to it.😀 Thanks again for bringing something beautiful into our homes through your travel videos. Much appreciation and gratitude.
Dear Lang, as always , very happy to see you again in here my dear friend; happy you enjoyed also Toffia as I found it also very charming; a strange or peculiar mix of cosy but at the same time a "harsh" one perhaps, a strange mix but very lovely. As far as Maria told me, her sister actually made all that display there and also about the poems; everybody can leave one and they put it in place. Also, the guitar, she told me, sometimes she plays it too but it's open for whoever wants. Quite an artistic family I found in them! Heh, that cat sensor was a little creepy actually at first, but then... got used to it somehow. I hope the people living there too actually. As always, Grazie for your kind words. Next Friday I'll upload a town I truly loved... a kind of "ghost" town but which is not ghost at all and full of tourists. Wish you a nice week my dear Lang and "to soon" as they say
What makes this town so wonderful is the history. As you mentioned it dates back to 1,200 year before Christ. Wow. Beautiful town with greenery sounding valleys. Thanks for video.
Love, love this town! Another beautiful place built high up. Very interesting too, love how they make the walls into a feature either with sculptures or painting. The area of Maria Patrucci's museo is so pretty, especially the Piazza Del Bel Pensiero. Glad that you shared this, Riccardo🙏👍 P.S. love the cats there too😽
