If I remember correctly, a woman put her cat in the microwave so he could dry up after staying in the rain... The cat died, of course, but the woman decided to take legal action against the microwave company because they never mentionned on the box that you couldn't put your pets in the microwave... AND WON...

Here in canada there was a family who went on a vacation and while they were gone some teens broke in everyday just doing stuff like breaking things and stealing. On the last day they decided to microwave their pet cat for 10 minutes and heard its screams. It was messed up. Thats probably why "a cat" was number one on the search lists
