Bro, I love your videos! I don't use the pricey high end bar soaps like you do, but I hate shower gel and obsess over bar soaps, and keep half a dozen different bar soaps on standby. I use each for different purposes and impending social situations. My car is also packed with hygiene products. I highly recommend Colgate Wisp single use refreshment toothbrushes. They dont provide an adequate substitute for proper brushing with toothpaste, but they provide a great touch up when needed. I thought I was the only guy like this, lol. Subscribed for life! As a guy I love doing my daily shower and hygiene routine. I sometimes get jealous looks from other guys wishing they smelled and looked just as good. In the morning I am very thorough with everything and I use quality products which people often comment on the amazing scents quite often.
The Big Lots colognes smell like alcohol... Because they are mostly alcohol... I love Big Lots, but I can absolutely tell the difference between a good eau de parfum/eau de cologne and a cheap one. A tip? Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Ross often carry those nice expensive name brand fragrances at *much* cheaper price points. 😊
BarSoap Guy from my understanding fancier fragrances have the benefit of being more complex where different scents linger for different periods of time, so you’ll smell different at different parts of the day, like a citrus smell followed by something a little fruity, then scent that smells a little bit like wood at the end of the day.
The difference between a $30 cologne or a big lots cologne is extremely huge, although he is right the big lots ones smell pretty good they just don’t last long, personally I still buy them because I like it for casual wear around people I’m not trying to impress
Why do people thinks it ok 2 wear the same clothes that stink bcuz of sweat bacteria and oils and swear it doesn't unwashed clothes smell just as bad as unwashed humans. That also means undergarments needs 2 b change daily sometimes twice a day is necessary. 😂 don't talk abt others if u perfuming the room with butt odor dirty draw skin marks breath funk armpit funk feet funk and no perfume body spray mist or cologne.
I use really cheap toothpaste. As long as its safe and has enough flouride. Then I use cheap non alchohol flouride toothpaste. Whitening toothpaste can be bad for your teeth so avoid it. I use cheap 1 dollar body wash or bar soap. I use a loofah (i disinfect it often) so cheap body washes sud up well. Sometimes i use something stronger (old spice) if its hot outside or im working long hours. For shampoo i use high quality stuff. I suffer hairloss but managed to regrow it with medications. So i avoid harsh stuff on my hair as much as possible.
Hi @soap boar guy can you do a review on gold bonds healing aloe lotion. I love this cream so far, it smells great and it works well for this cold season. I would like to know your thoughts abouth this product or any other drug store lotions.
I can smell a distinct improvement in a quality thirty-buck cologne over a cheap imitation, and I think a lot of people could. There tends to be an even bigger difference two hours later and beyond. Once you get above about fifty dollars, though, the improvement is either non-existent or subtle.
I go with duke cannon soap(also gheor shower gel), suave shea and almond butter shampoo and also the same type of conditioner. Harry's face cleaner. Listerine with alcohol. For some reason i have an allergic reaction to the one without alcohol. Sensodyne pronamel toothpaste. Old spice antiperspirant but moght switch to Duke Cannon. And i vary between 15 different colognes. Have everything from comic book character and avon scents to Hugo Boss.
So when you bar soap reviews are assessing it after the shower and not moisturizing? Or are you acutely aware of your skins moisture even after lotion with each different bar soap?

+brokenpockets82 having dry skin is tough and most bar soaps do tend to dry out the skin , even moisturizing bar soaps don't moisturize as well as body lotions ...I think you'll like the moroccanoil oil cleansing bar , let me know how it worked for you ..
How do you shave ? I use a safety razor . It is so much better and cheaper then a cartridge razor . If I am going to be hanging around home all day ,doing nothing I will not put on deodorant. It is bad for your skin. I always put it on if I am going great out . I do jot want to stink . Lol

I've tried high end bar soap and body wash, but I always go back to Dove because it's the only one that really agrees with my skin.

It's possible in the future I might review lotions but for now it's just soaps and natural deodorants.

I don't' apply moisturizer most days so it's pretty easy for me to judge my skins condition.
