From a Gemmological perspective...Ruby and sapphire are both corundum, and they grow together, are mined together and then someone decides what is ruby and what is pink sapphire. How is it they are so antagonistic?

As an astrologer who often gives advice to clients in the form of actions they can take to support them in the coming year, I always appreciate understanding crystals. I listened to your metal energy too which was equally fascinating. I am Virgo rising and have always loved sapphires. Since sapphire is the birth stone for Virgo, I just figured it was my rising sign that drew me to this color or quality although I am actually an Aquarius Sun. The amethyst is lovely, but not my favorite. I’ve always selected dark blue cars, dark blue evening dresses, and any time I want to feel “special”, I select something with a navy or indigo somewhere inside of it and feel I look my best wearing these colors. Last Spring my Mother in law leant me a ruby set of jewelry to wear to an event against my usual deep blue gown. First time I wore rubies. These stones against the deep blue were truly striking. I wasn’t wearing saphires with the rubies, it was only the gown that had a sapphire color to it. The contrast was really something and the compliments I received actually surprised me. It was like the stones WERE ASKING TO BE NOTICED. I told my husband I felt like they were calling out, ‘Look at us! Glorify us!’ And being Virgo rising with Pluto in the first house, I like looking nice, but I actually felt more on display than I was comfortable with, so I determined I’d probably not ever put that combination together again. As striking as it was, I actually felt overwhelmed by the attention that was turned towards me and didn’t like it. My mother in law LOVES attention. I returned the jewelry to her and told her, “You should wear this set more often. I think it suits you better than me, but I appreciate you letting me experience wearing it one evening.” My mother in law has her Sun conjunct Mars and lots of fire / competitive energy about her. Rubies are definitely her stone. But it was fascinating for me to realize that they likely were calling out to be noticed. They had been locked away in a safe for a while. Probably really eager to be out and worn and appreciated. It’s so valuable to know how to USE things. I wish more people would embrace the idea that qualities do matter because if I were trying to raise money for one of the many groups I’ve been a part of in the past or present (as many Aquarians are on non-profits), I would wear the rubies so that I’d get noticed and have people’s attention OR better yet, put on the emeralds and magnetize people with money to me so that they would want to donate to the cause. Understanding vibrations and frequencies is life changing when you apply it.

Would adore if you talked about a few of my favorite stones in seperate sections. The Chatoyants: Labradorite, Arfvedsonite, Iolite, Sunstone, Moonstone and Vivianite! They have beautiful flashes of otherworldly peacocky colors that aren't immediately seen upon first glance. They glitter and glow and glisten from the inside out at the right angle with the right light at just the right moment. Another badass group would be the dark stones that absorb and deflect toxic vibrations and negative emotions: black tourmaline, onyx, all the obsidians (silver/gold sheen, snowflake, ect), INDIGO GABBRO, Garnet, jet and shungite. Another rare and unique stone I would love to hear you explain and expose the blessings of is Seraphinite .......and all the 4 colors of Kyanite! Blue, green, black and orange. I just made a pendant yesterday incorporating all 4 colors of kyanite into one unit. I'm curious what sort of powerful purpose its combined vibrations could serve. Please and thank you. I am loving your work, Mariya. Thank you for being here at this time. I still have no idea what type of etheric wings my higher me sent and blessed me with but thank you so much for providing the workshop for the activation. Much love sweet soul sister. Amen. 💚🍀🌹🧙🏻‍♂️🌬🌪💧🌊🧜‍♂️🐉🪽🦚

In for the response. I would imagine that the structure wouldn’t be exactly the same since lab grown have gas bubbles in them. But they are also identical to Ruby. So although they don’t have the energy of mother gaia, I would imagine if you treat them with love and the same respect as a natural stone. Their energy would shift.
But I have no idea 🤷‍♂️

I've always loved emeralds and sapphires but am ambivalent about diamonds. My grandmother left me a 9 stone ruby clock locket when she passed. I tried to use it as a pendulum and it starting spinning so fast it flew from my hands and I never found it. Same thing happened when I purchased a pendulum that was a silver mermaid and aqua marine. It was weird. I bought a rose quartz and it went missing for a week before a chipmunk crawled out of a hole in the ground and dropped it at my feet. I'm pretty sure my mama was fae and my daddy was mer. It's like the crystals went to send a message they didn't bother to send me a courtesy copy.
