RCA console TV with Modern internals

This is a 1976 RCA Colortrak XL-100 Console TV. It was modified with a tube and chassis from a modern CRT, and equipped with a media player to play video off a USB drive. It was originally built to play the intro video and countdown timer in an escape room. After The business closed it's been sitting in my spare bedroom.

I usually like original OEM stuff but this is pretty fantastic considering you could have polished it up really well, as a 40-year-old I know that this stuff is becoming less and less popular but videos like this may give some younger people drive to preserve some cool old stuff, to me everything I watch I prefer to watch on a CRT it's what I grew up with it's what I'm used to and I just can't get used to LCD screens.

You may be able to desolder the IR receiver from the TV chassis and install it on the cabinet. That way you can use all the functions of that chassis with a remote.
