    So many native speakers in the UK get this wrong. When we speak, we shorten it to should've, and to those who don't understand grammar, they think this is 'should of', so they write and sometimes say 'should of'.

      We often don’t use proper grammar in casual conversation. That makes it even more confusing. 😞

      ‘Should have’ is always correct when talking about the past. Even though ‘he has’ or ‘he had’ can be correct, and ‘he have’ is incorrect, ‘he should had’ or ‘he should has’ is never correct.
